Although not exactly like the original Lifebuoy, it is a solid choice.

This vintage soap is very nice. I can see why Marilyn Monroe loved it. It gives a strong aroma therapy when in use, adding to the bathing experience. Dial soap used to have the same strong effect on me, but it seems to have weaken throughout the years. During my first shower with LifeBoy, I lathered up twice because the experience was so pleasent. The bar, to my surprise, hardly showed it's been used. I will consider buying again. *For those of you confused over LifeBoy, the soap rating is a 10. This is a 3 bar order, not 10 bars. *I have another favorite soap I found on Amazon. It is Patchouli with Lavender Oil, made by Sunaroma. UPDATE - December 19, 2025 - UPDATE In my research of this wonderful soap I found out, when movie star Marilyn Monroe used LifeBoy soap it was made with a totally different formula. It was a harsh smelling carbolic soap, designed mainly to kill germs. Other stars made comments about Marilyn along the lines of, "She reaked of LifeBoy soap." Hopefully, she learned to only use the earlier version at night before bedtime. I love the new updated LifeBoy. Curiosity caused me to buy a bar of Carbolic soap. All I did was partially open the wrap. The smell is awful, and powerfully mediciny, and has continued in strength for months now. There is nothing flattering about this antibiotic formula. I will never bath with it. I've placed it beside my Ninja Slushie machine. I haven't seen a bug near it yet.

Definitely not like I remember from my childhood. Lathers up good. Smell is kind of lemon lime citrus with a hint of grapefruit. No greasy residue left behind. Smell is pleasant but not what I expected. After a shower the smell doesn't linger very long.

Reasonable sized bar. Lathers nice and not overly perfumed. Seems to get a little soft in the soap dish and makes a bit of a red mess that wastes a fair amount of the bar.

This soap is strictly for my husband. After working in his shop, it works on the dirt!

Lifebuoy Total 10- Soap Bar - 125g X 3 Bars My mistake...I know...but the way I initially read it was Lifebuoy Total 10 thinking there was 10 bars of soap for 10 dollars NOPE! Only three bars of soap Not really a great value which is why I gave it a one star for value. Quality wise...it's the best soap around which is why I bought it to begin with. Once a year the 99 cent store brings them in and sells them for about a buck and a half. Crappiest thing- This product is not eligible for returns. Should have been more careful but very sneaky none the less on Lifebouys part.

This is good soap but not what I expected. Apparently, sometime in the the 50's, Lifebuoy changed the scent to delete the carbolic odor. It was that carbolic odor soap that I was after. As I understand it, Carbolic Acid was one of the ingredients and it provides a very clean odor. But... this is very good soap and I prefer it to most more modern soaps. It has a very pleasant, but subdued, odor. If you use it, people will not pass you on the street knowing you bathed with Lifebuoy.

I LOVE this soap. I read that this was the soap Marilyn Monroe used but it was described as smelling a bit “strange”. I have POTs and am perimenopausal (but have always been sweaty). I have always been self conscious about being sweaty and body odor. I have sensitive skin and scented soaps often make my skin worse. This soap is amazing and now I will not use anything else. No weird body smells, and helps to control sweat. It fights fungus and bacteria. And it doesn’t smell weird-it smells clean.

My father in law absolutely loves this soap he was so chuffed I bought it for him

Is not the same product. And too expensive!

Antigamente este sabonete era muito usado pelas suas propriedades anti-bacterianas. Infelizmente, parece que perdeu um pouco da sua eficácia, mas apesar de tudo, continua a ser um excelente produto. Recomendo.
