Heat Holders Twist Crew Sock

Son wears them at night (and on cold campouts). He has complained that he wakes up with sweaty feet sometimes. Hardly an issue. They definitely keep the heat in.

I got these socks to wear during the cold weather portion of motor sports season. I wore them with my leather square toed cowboy boots. Temps didn’t get below 45 degrees, yet my feet still got chilly. They certainly held heat better than regular cotton socks, but I was hoping for toasty toes all night. It probably didn’t help that I was stationary for several hours without friction to help generate some heat. Also, they are somewhat loose fitting, and slid down my calf quickly, but they never slipped below my heel. These might work best in a thicker, low top boot over a thin cowboy boot with a long shank and wider toe box.

Bought these for our trip to Iceland! They were so warm and didn’t take up as much space in my boot as I initially thought. Highly recommend. Also, beware the sock isn’t inside out when you throw in the dryer…or all the warm fuzzy inside the sock will end up on your clothes :-/ (error on my part, not the socks!)

Only reason for 4 stars is two reasons:1. They fall down, which gets annoying.2. They are very thick and won't fit well in normal shoes, but that's why they are warm, and are mainly good for around your home.

An essential for winter time cold feet, helps increase endurance when out in the cold
