I had never used a burger press before and after using this press to make a stuffed burger, know I will be using it often. I like that, unlike some other presses, all the parts fit together to make one compact unit. There is the ring with removable bottom, the top press with handle which houses the depression mold for stuffing the burger. The mold for the depression is accessed by twisting the press lid and lifting up. The bottom of the press has little non-skid pads to prevent the press from sliding around while you are pressing out your burger. The entire unit is made of a pretty thick, rigid plastic material that doesn't bend and is advertised as being dishwasher safe. Even if you hand-wash, like I did, all the pieces are very easy to clean, nothing sticks!Also included with the press were a number of parchment-like patty papers. These are very handy to prevent the burger from sticking to the top press. They can be re-used for as many burgers as you are making that meal. The patty papers can also be use as separators between burgers if you're freezing them. This particular unit came with its own storage bag, too.Making a stuffed burger for the first time wasn't at all difficult with this press. Am seriously thinking about getting another one for the motorhome!
