Anxious for Nothing: Finding Calm in a Chaotic World

I really enjoy Max Lucado books. I addicted to them and this one (like others) has really helped me through a difficult time. Thank you.

I have seen people complain about the number of pages! All of Max's books that I have read are more like a Bible study and this is no exception. With reflection questions at back of book for each chapter, just perfect as always Max. Love how Max writes, so easy to read and so practical. Going through alot of depression and anxiety and this has helped lift me.

Already half way through this book and it's helping me how to look at my own anxieties. It's very easy to get caught up in those feelings and often forget to turn to the one where our help comes from. Thank you for helping me to recognise this.

I have given this four rather than five stars because I couldn’t honestly ignore the last thirty-six percent of reflection prepared by Jessalyn Foggy. That is not to say this part is without value. Others might find Jessalyn’s reflections very thought-provoking and I may well do so in the future. I will read this book many more times and will probably read further into that final thirty-six percent too.

Always a great read, leaving the reader encouraged and uplifted. The text is balanced in not being overly technical with 'walk the talk' examples. Yet draws on Bible verses to support points. Superb.

Such a great, great book! If you go through difficult times, grab it and read it, don't hesitate a second. If you don't go through difficult times, still grab it and read it. Either way it will help you a lot. I can't recommend it enough, honestly!

A helpful book and an easy read.

I like Max Lucado and this book is quite helpful. It depends what you want from a Christian book about Anxiety. I shall be reading it again.

Although it has many scriptural quotes, I still find it easy to follow and understand. It is well worth meditating on the writer's points of view. It does help one tackle the anxiety that most of us are confronted with nowadays.

I am really glad I got this book. Anxious for Nothing has a calm, encouraging tone that makes it easy to sit with instead of feeling like another thing to rush through. I liked that it points back to faith in a practical way, with reminders that feel steady and useful when life feels busy or overwhelming. It is the kind of book I can pick up for a few pages at a time and still come away feeling more grounded. The writing is clear, warm, and easy to follow, and it does not feel heavy even though the topic matters. My copy arrived in good shape and the whole order was simple, so I had no complaints at all. If you want something faith-based that feels comforting and practical, this is a really good one to keep nearby.

Hardbound book, worth a read, encouragement for people who feel they are at the end of the world, good Christian literature!!!
