Because the lid and body are sealed with silicone packing (airthght), The smell of kimchi almost does not leak out.

Maybe better than the average container but not really! The container is sturdy but the walls are thin and lose heat.

Does this container keep food hot or cold?

I’ve only ever used it for room temperature food, or put it in the fridge if food needed to be kept cold.
