Very good Quality torch with very bright light would recommend

This torch is way more powerful then I expected! It sends a concentrated beam well over 100 meters!I was dubious to how long the 4 AA Batteries would last considering how bright it is. But they haven't ran out yet.I benefit from using rechargeable AA batteries which save money.Only down side is the barrel that holds the batteries in place is ever so slightly loose inside the torch so it has a very small amount of rattle. But barely noticeable.I would recommend this torch based on the brightness and the price. And the flexibility of using conventional AA batteries which you can buy anywhere when camping or take spare, when there isno Charging facilities at a campsite or when travelling.

This is a really good torch with good level of illumination, well built and it is a good size to hold especially when moving, and it has a small wrist strap which is great added precautionary measure. It just about fits in a coat pocket, and sits slightly out of a back jeans pocket, so it can be stored if you don't want to carry it in the hand. Very early days of usage but so far I am very impressed. The aluminium construction holds the cold now the temperatures are dropping so I find that I need to wear gloves as it gets a little uncomfortable in the hand because of the cold. It has a good light pattern even in the low setting, which is sufficient for lighting dimly lit roads/pavements up to about 20ft, so you can see where you are going. Now let's get the slight niggle for me, it is stated that it is 3000 lumens, that can only be for the very focused setting, it is certainly not that in the normal light pattern. The standard output is good but this will not illuminate a football pitch. I have a good 280 lumen 18V work light and this torch is brighter, so I would guess that this is anywhere between 300 to 400 lumens (max) in the standard bright wide light pattern. That said the torch has a very good output which is more than enough for my needs when out walking, even on the lower setting. The 4 AA batteries (not included) should provide better power than AAA. I purchased it with 20% off, I would say it is a bargain. Will it last who can tell, it feels as good as a Maglite at a fraction of the cost. If you need a general purpose torch, for outdoors, walking the dog, DIY, maintenance, with a good light pattern & output then this is worth considering. Very happy with the purchase, it's providing safer walking conditions as I can now see those uneven pavements that don't seem to get fixed anymore.

This is a very good little torch, a good size to keep handy if we have a power cut. Lovely and bright and has different modes which would be very handy. Came really quickly too.

I needed a torch to keep an eye on my dog going out at night as my last flashlight that had AAA batteries was always running out of power.After lots of research, I got this because it takes the higher grunt AA batteries that certainly last much longer and make the beam super bright! It didn’t disappoint!The torch is well made and incredibly bright and has an easily adjustable beam spread right up to a lazer focus if needed. My only gripe is that you have to scroll through the three modes each time you turn it off and on and off and on and off and on etc etc … You have the full bright mode, half bright mode AND THEN you have the UTTERLY MANIC Special Armed Forces strobe mode that almost causes a seizure or disorientation if you accidentally look at it …I’d rather it have a simple “SOS” mode … or nothing at all as, let’s be honest, 99.9% of the time you just want a standard bright/not so bright mode!BUT, maybe the manic strobe is of value to you if you are worried about safety as this super-fast flash mode could easily be used as a good defensive strategy perhaps to deter hostile approaches by bears, monsters or aliens!!! Ummm … I’m getting sidetracked … anyway, the torch is quite big, tough and heavy to clout something with but not the sort of device you can hold in your teeth as you’re panicking to unlock a door while carrying your pet and trying to escape from scary things that come out at night. Just saying! :o)

Bought two of these and I cannot really believe the power of them.. lights up likeno other hand-held torch I have seen... not a SMALL pocket torch but it is not too big either. They get used fairly often and I have had them a while now, yet I am still on the first set of batteries.. great stuff.THe torch does have changeable beam pattern from a focused square to a large circular cover.. even then it is still bright.

So far so good I've been using this torch every night for about two or more months now and I like it, it's a good size and weight for me I can put it in my pocket ok and if I dropped it I think it would survive as it seems fairly robust, there were no batterys with it I put in new Amazon brand aa batterys and it hasn't dimmed yet, it seems to do what the description says it will do, I like it it's very useful to me a great price for a good torch.

Absolutely brillant Torch,for the price.Feels really robust in the hand.Fantastic lighting,and variable beam options.Would definitely recommend.
