Awesome book written by a 14 year old girl !Some of the poems are absolutely stunning and heart touching

Wow what Am amazing Book by a 14years child...!!

I knew Alaina as my friends daughter, as I know few kids in some friend’s families. When I was told she has written a book; my reaction was ‘oh! Really?’ I ordered her book from Notion Press; more out of curiosity and as a kind of gesture to encourage her. The book ‘Unheard Voices’ by Alaina Hirani, was promptly delivered.At the first sight, the presentation of book and the note by the author at the back cover raised my curiosity to compelling level.The first few lines after the introduction ‘ My poems are not words. They are tears, hope and emotions’ encouraged me to start reading the book right away. After going through just few pages; I realised I never knew this author ‘Alaina Hirani’. I kept getting surprised page after page; the whole book is a roller coaster of emotions, pain, dilemma, hope and more hope, going on in the mind of a woman who could be from any part of the world.After completing the book, it is still just unbelievable for me that a fourteen years age child can have such feelings, sensitivity, language command and courage to express a complicated subject of this nature. I wonder how a just teenager can move away from the usual fantasy world and get entangled into the some of the bitter realties of a woman’s life? At this tender age, she has taken the onus of speaking and expressing so loudly on behalf of millions of girls and women, not only from India but similar cultures across the globe, who are denied a free and fair existence.Lastly, what Alaina says in one poem has great inspiration potential.When you know the what and why,Everything becomes easier.Everything starts to make sense.Know what you want to do,and know why you want to do it.The rest unfolds itself.All you need is the what and why,and the passionThat is all it takes,to make dreams come true.I am sure any body who reads ‘Unheard Voices’; will have the desire to meet Alaina Hirani, this 14 years old prodigy.
