I'm a big fan Energel needle .3 mm tips. I bought these pens just for the refills. I found out I could get the complete pen for the about the same price as the refills so I have the option of using the pen or the refill in my other pens. I like the feel of my more expensive pens with this refill in them. They write very smooth and the ink dries fast and does not smear. It is not waterproof and if your hands are wet or damp, the ink will smear. I'm a pen nut so I'm very careful with my writing instruments and other materials. In my opinion, these refills and Pentel products are the best.

The best pen ever if you like fine lines

This pen ink lasts long and stays pigmented, the tip remains fine point until ink is finished. It’s comfortable to write with, and doesn’t smear for left handed writer. The grip is affective. The one draw back is that the barrel is not always durable. the plastic part may crack, causing the part where you screw the top grip to the bottom shaft to keep randomly unscrewing itself. For those pens in this pack, I wrap the plastic barrel with strong tape. As of right now, I still feel it’s worth the purchase because it’s a great fine point pen for the price, and I’m picky when it comes to buying fine point pens and like to have them available, but also don’t want to spend $20 for one pen.

Been using Pentel writing products since college days. They have always been smooth writing instruments. These pens continue that tradition. The ink flows smoothly onto the paper and dries quickly.

The perfect extra fine point. Super legible ink on legal documents & allows you to write small but still legible. My favorite writing instrument
