Review: Works Great with XMP3i - Great Value. - I've owned and used on a daily basis XM satellite handhelds for over 4 years. My previous model was the Pioneer Inno. This headphone set is comparable to the ones I purchased for the inno. Reception is great when walking outside. But, I do find that this model has a useful lifetime of about 12-15 months. After that, it begins to cut out. But for the desertcart price, its a good deal for that amount of time and use. Review: freedom to listen to satellite radio w/o being confined to car or home - Great for my XMp3, use this to get a signal while driving in my car. Hang it on the rearview mirror and plug the player into the Aux-in. Saves time and don't have to mess with the awkward car setup. Great when walking, hate the hard tips for the ears. Like another post said, I just have the antenna headphones rest on my neck and plug my headphones in to have a more secure fit. Amazed at how well these grab the signal, even in the house I can use these instead of hooking up to a home system, so I can roam around the house without blasting a stereo system. Do not know why SiusXM is discontinuing the best player for their receivers. The XMp3i is mobile, records for when a signal isn't available. If they wish to expend their business they need to invest and encourage more mobile receivers like the XMpi, and invest in making their headphones more comfortable in the ears, and staying on the head while working and walking. The comfort value would be a 2-3 star, but the freedom to listen to satellite radio bumps the star rating up. These work well and free you from being confined to a car or home.

Excellent headphones
These headphones are a much improved version than the earbud type. The old version was very fragile and broke very easily prompting me to order a new pair. I was very pleased when I received these headphones. They are a universal fit rather than having different sizes of rubber ear buds. These headphones are also more comfortable in the ear and are much sturdier and in my opinion less likely to break.

Solved My Problem
The small portable XMP3i radio had terrible reception in my area and I couldn't use it outside, which is why I bought it. With the antenna headphones, I am free to go for walks and do my gardening with full reception.

Great for walking - but stopped working.
My headset stopped working after a few months of service. Walking with my satellite radio is important to me. This is my second or third headset - clearly I am a slow learner. I have contacted the vendor via Amazon; we shall see how the stand by their product. I want to be clear it is not the radio. It works fine in other locations. After talking to the vendor I was informed that they are content providing substandard product and will not standby it's performance. All I get is the 30 day return policy. Do not purchase this product. Don

The XMP3i is the only truly portable XM radio that doesn't require an internet subscription and cellular data service and thanks to these antenna headphones is a wonderful device. Unfortunately the radio is no longer being manufactured and the headphones have an inherent design flaw. The antenna component has a short and unpredictable service life. I have purchased around ten of these in the eight years or so that I've been using my XMP3i. I always keep a spare on hand because its only a matter of time before it loses the ability to receive the satellite signal. Otherwise these antenna headphones are indispensable to the enjoyment of the XMP3i. I dread the day when the last XMP3i finally dies.

Allows me to listen to my radio without interruption. I live in a mountainous area and would have limited coverage without these headphones.

Not Huge improvement, but not bad...
Sound quality is good. Didn't improve my indoor Reception by much though, even though I live in Southern California, close to the Satellite. I still have to stick my head in the Window Sill. It could just be that the house is not reception-friendly. Have yet to try it outdoors, where the Radio's reception would go out any time there is a leaf overhead, or a fairly deep dip in the Road. Overall, reception= Unimpressed. Sound quality= fairly impressed.
