CatBib WildBird Saver Purple Big

Excellent product. My hunting machine, Mork, has had zero luck with birds and mammals since wearing this for a year. He used to catch something about once a week. It looks goofy and he walks a bit funny but it works. Like others have said it is a great conversation starter on the problem of cats and birds, and hopefully gets others to use this bib.I modified mine by drawing on big eyes, a mouth and teeth with permanent marker and reflective tape to make it even more visual for the birds. and to make it a little better at reflecting car lights if my cat is crossing the road at night. He was losing the stretch and break-away collars so I also modified a stretch collar by replacing the whimpy elastic with a heavier duty single strand of elastic, not a loop that can get caught on a branch, secured with a wire wrap and gorilla glue. I can still slip it on and off his head but he has not lost it yet with this mod.

This is the third catbib i have purchased, not because they do not last but because I place them at all the outside doors so I can quickly bib up Spot our killer cat whenever he wants out. I have not seen him catch a bird (or anything else for that matter) since we have been using the bibs. I love them, love that Spot can go out and not harm all the creatures that we enjoying watching in our yard. Spot can navigate stairs and run with his catbib on, he just cannot get his paws up in time to catch a bird, or probably get them to reach out in enough time to catch something on the ground. Plus, it is a great conversation starter! We have people stop their cars on the street and ask us " What IS that on your cat?" That becomes a teachable moment and EVERYONE I have talked to about this product loves the idea. If you have an Indoor/outdoor cat I highly recommend this product. You will feel better about letting your cat out, your bird loving neighbors will appreciate it, and who knows, you may meet and make friends because of it :)

Very upset because this bib was the only thing that kept our cat from killing our beautiful birds. Bought the first bib, and he lost it in a week. Bought the second bib, and he managed to lose it the same day it arrived. I attached it properly to his breakaway collar, so I don't know how in heaven's name this is happening. Buying this again is getting a little expensive, so when the weather is better, my husband is going to search our property to see if he can find the lost bibs. In the meantime, our KILLER CAT is up to his same behavior. My heart is sad.

Our cat looks ridiculous, which doesn’t bother me at all, kind of amusing though my wife feels sorry for him. Anyway, it does the job, no more dead birds. He can still catch the large Sphinx moths at night, we hypothesize that he just plucks them out of the flowers with his teeth (“look ma, no paws”)

okay so this sucked i have 14 semi ferals and all of them freaked out when i put on them to try it out...i'm sure it is a hit and miss with some cats that are more domesticated but for ferals and semi feral...you will probably give them a heart attack...they kill its what they do unfortunately.

It might have worked but, it was gone in less than 24 hours. Cats that are hunters have no problem losing this bib. Poor birds.

This product is great! Our killer has gone from a few critters each day to just a few a week. I highly recommend it!

I did NOT think this product could really stop my killer cat from wiping out all the little birds in our neighborhood. She was bringing one home everyday. I was desperate, and bought the cat bib. My cat did not object when I put it on her. She walked a little funny and tripped a bit while walking along the fence top. But, there has not been one bird killing at all since she has worn it. She can enjoy the outdoors and I can feel confident I won't have to bury anymore little birds! Thank you!!
