Absolutely Excellent product!!
Absolutely wonderful!!! Awesome quality product!!! We became espresso lovers years ago on our first trip to Italy and have collected several espresso makers of various types - this is the BEST!! I vacillated on getting this unit because this brand is approximately twice the price of other brands, but I kept coming back to the warranty - 25 years! So, I figured if they were willing to stand behind their product for that long (considering we have become such a throw-away society), then I'd spring for a one-time purchase. The espresso is delicious!! However, if you are cooking on a glasstop stove, use the smallest burner and place it on high; otherwise, the burner will not keep the heat high enough to reach the "perking" stage... Takes about 6 minutes from start to finish - Love it!!!!!Wonderful!!! I have no doubt this will last... my lifetime... maybe my grandchildren will get to enjoy it!! Excellent product!!

So u actually get to enjoy your coffee faster
Works perfectly on an induction stove.Very well made and heavy duty. Take heed to hold the coffee body when unscrewing the bottom from the TOP as advised to prevent the handle from breaking apart .I purchased both the Roma and this Milano. The Roma model actually heats up on the induction a lot faster than the Milano. So u actually get to enjoy your coffee faster. Also for the Roma the coffee handle is wielded on both ends. So I Guess the handle is a lot more sturdyVery good overall. No leakage on the steam pressure part

Highest quality engineering
I've had several stovetop espresso makers over many years, including several Bialettis and a couple of Vev Viganos. This is BY FAR the best designed and engineered maker I've ever owned. It's easy to fill in the grounds. There's no extra-wide brim to catch stray grounds that end up embedding in the gasket (a major problem with most other brands), so post-use clean-up is extremely easy. The top is very easy to screw on, and nearly impossible to mis-thread. It's easy to tighten down enough without major muscle, to large part because of the design of the threading and the major reduction in coffee grounds getting embedded in the gasket. And the coffee quality is excellent. I wish I had this years and years ago.

Not all 18/10 stainless steel
Well I got my product and to be sure of its quality I tested it with a magnet and stainless steel fork to dicern what metal all the parts were made of. I found the reducer to be magnetic as well as the base, the top of the funnel, and the bottom of the top half. The rest was not magnetic but the handle on the reducer seems to be aluminum which is a bit disappointing. I from what I can tell they didnt use 18/10 steel on everything, as it shouldn't be magnetic at all. I am guessing 18/10 on most of the top, maybe on the bottom too if the magneticness is from a non steel core between two layers of steel, but the rest is likely a cheeper stainless steel if not just regular steel. I would like a comment back from the company to know what the real deal is, and based on that my rating will go up or down...

Hot handle
I was worried when buying that the handle may get hot, seeing I brewmy coffee on a gas stove. I have used it a dozen times now with no problem. The filters reducer is also great for making a brew for one.

Bialetti make better coffee
Meh..it's a pretty nice looking piece. However, I don't think it is a very good Moka. As the top chamber fills, the coffee in that chamber also starts to boil. And there is always a significant amount of water remaining in the bottom chamber. My other Bialetti Stovetop Espresso Maker is superior in every way with respect to the quality of espresso made. However, I purchased this as it was stainless steel (vs aluminum).

No value for money. I suspect it is not stainless steel (EDELSTAHL)
They send it in a very thin plastic bad. When it arrived it was damaged. I had one of these before and even though the company claims it is EDELSTAHL (stainless steel) I suspect it is NOT. Because my last coffee pot thingy actually started to get rusty very fast. So it cannot be Edelstahl. The quality is ok but for this price it is a joke.

Good coffee, beautiful design
Good coffee, beautiful design. Hard to figure out water to coffee ratios for small amounts. (should have got the 6 cup). The lid is loose on the hinges, bangs around while washing. Not sure why? For the price, it should be perfect.
