I can breathe again
I had a nose job 11 years ago. Several years ago, my nasal valve (basically the sides of my nose near the nostrils) started to collapse. My nostrils become more narrow. I couldn't breathe through my nose. When I jogged or slept, I could only breathe through my mouth, so I felt like I wasn't getting enough air in. I went to the US, and was advised by two surgeons, that I needed a cartilage graft to expand the sides of my nose. That costs tens of thousands of dollars, and they sometimes take cartilage from your rib. I tried Airmax, and I can finally breathe! It feels amazing. Sometimes it doesn't quite fit in, so I have try a few times, since my nostrils are fairly small. This is week 2 for me. I also ordered several pairs in the size small, in case it loses its shape. I alternate them, a few hours during the day, and some or all of the evening (if I can get it in comfortably). It works much better than breatheright strips. I only wish this had a more permanent impact. Also, I wasn't able to blow my nose through one side for years, and now that's starting to work too (minimally, but it's something).

This is the one for me after dropping down to Small from Medium
TL;DR: the size of this makes a huge difference, with Small I'm very pleased. I used to wear nasal strips all the time due to allergies years ago. I dropped the habit when my allergies improved. Recently I tried a nasal strip again and realized just how poorly I had been sleeping due to trouble breathing. My nostrils get very narrow just before the cartilage part of my nose, and any amount of inflammation pretty much blocks them up. To make matters worse, breathing in draws my nostrils partway closed if I'm completely relaxed. Nasal strips are leaving a visible mark on my skin at this point so I've tried a few products to help. Many focus on keeping the outermost opening of the nostril free, which isn't exactly my problem. I tried the Medium one of these some months ago, and while better, I found it uncomfortable, and it wouldn't stay in the right spot. I decided to try the Small size, and I've already ordered a second to have on hand. I slept the whole night without getting frustrated and pulling it out! In my case it doesn't breathe as freely as a nasal strip, since there's something in the nasal passage after all - but it keeps things open pretty dependably and keeps me sleeping. Obviously this sort of thing is highly personal in terms of fit, but I'm happy. I will note that after wearing it back to back for a few days I got some blisters, so I'm slowly cycling this and nasal strips to hopefully get to using this 100% of the time.

All the air, and snot.
Is this what it feels like to breathe through BOTH NOSTRILS?!?! The material is more flexible than I had first thought--thought it was going to be hard plastic that would forcibly stretch my nostrils open. But it only opened my nostrils a few millimeters and surprisingly made such a huge difference. Because if the flexibility of the material, it felt surprisingly comfortable. The boyfriend is happy he doesn't have to hear my snoring as loudly as before. I'm still snoring, he says, but much lighter than before. So it's not a 100% fix if anyone is looking for that as a solution. But it sure as hell makes breathing a lot easier and maybe, perhaps, I'll throw in the claim I'm getting more oxygen. Take this with a grain of salt, might be a placebo. Feels awkward at first, since there's a thing up your nose and I was worried that my tossing and turning would cause it to dislodge through the night or bruise/hurt my noise, but none of that has happened. The instructions in the package says give it 2 consecutive weeks to get used to the feeling. So far it's quite comfortable, so I could see myself acclimating to this device sooner than expected. Comes with a carry box that fits into your pocket so you can take it with you on the go and protects it and keeps it clean. Speaking of clean, it's definitely gross when you pull it out of your nose in the morning. Of course though, what would we expect of a product going into the crevices of our snot filled and clogged nostrils. Fair warning! Make sure you keep up your hygiene and wash this bad boy every day with mild soap and water every single day. EDIT: Changed my rating from 5 to 4. After using this not even a full month yet, I feel I have broken in the piece where it's more comfortable for my nose. But it's starting to lose it's ability to stay positioned in the nose, sometimes falling out halfway through the night or entirely altogether and I would find it under my pillow or in my hair (yuck). The packaging says replace every 90 days, but this hasn't even gotten to its 30th day yet. Because it falls out either halfway or altogether at night, my nose gets stuffy again. I end up waking up with an uncomfortable feeling of something in my nose, as well as a partially blocked nose passage. So bottom line, it works, but only if it's brand new for around 14 days.
