I’ve been a Hiccapop customer for over 10 years. When my grandson was born, I purchased one of their toddler beds, and it was so well made that it was later used by my granddaughters too. Throughout the years, I also experienced their outstanding customer service. Even long after my purchase, they were responsive and stood behind their product. That kind of service is hard to find. Fast forward to today—my three-year-old granddaughter insists on sleeping in Grandma’s bed, which sits fairly high off the floor. After she rolled out one night, I knew I needed a safe solution. I searched through countless options before discovering that Hiccapop made a bed rail bumper. Because of my previous experience with the company, I didn’t hesitate to order it. I’m so glad I did. I’ve been using it for 3+ months and it has been perfect. It’s sturdy, lightweight, and surprisingly effective. I honestly wondered how a foam bumper could stay in place so well, but once it’s positioned under the fitted sheet, it stays securely in place. It’s also easy to install, remove, and reposition whenever needed. Most importantly, my granddaughter sleeps comfortably, and I have peace of mind knowing she’s much less likely to roll out of bed. I rarely recommend an entire company, but Hiccapop has earned my trust over the years through both the quality of their products and their exceptional customer service. This bumper works great! It’s soft foam and it stays put on the mattress and it’s tall enough to ensure she doesn’t roll off the bed. It’s durable, retains its shape after sitting or leaning on it. However, because it sits on the top of the mattress, it reduces the surface area/size of the mattress, versus a bed rail that slides under the mattress and sits on the side. So I cannot lay down on the twin bed with my granddaughter to read books before bedtime because there is not enough space. Also, since it’s under the fitted sheet, it pulls/raises the fitted sheet so you will need to adjust/stretch the sheet to help flatten it out. Definitely consider the pros/cons of this product before buying.

Great product that worked perfectly on a daybed mattress. The bumper expanded quickly with no notable odor. It adhered effectively to the mattress and did not move once the fitted sheet was on. My grandson loved it!

I wanted to wait at least one week before I leave a review to be fair. This pillow/bumper is definitely worth it. I was originally using a regular pillow on one side of the bed and almost like a nightstand with small items like a burp cloth or a bib on the pillow. Overtime it became less functional and aesthetically pleasing so I decided to look into a product that can help. Obviously there’s many companies, but this one seem the most attractive to me. Packaging: The packaging was nice, very flat lol Assembly: Once you open it, it immediately fluffed up, washing needed, no ironing or anything. The cover was easy to place on and it was ready to go. Material quality: the material of the actual bumper is very nice and super thick. The material of the cover is also nice and feels plush. Even though it would be under your bed sheets, I’m happy they made the cover nice as well even because I can see a kid using this as a throw pillow later. Size/length: I am using this on a queen bed. It leaves maybe a 6 inch space on both ends when centered. You can obviously put it directly at the headboard or foot if you’d like. Functionality: When I put it on the bed, I was a little nervous that it may not stay in place but that has been an absolute non-issue. It stays in place and creates enough lift that if I wanted to rest something on top of it, like a burp cloth, I can do that (although I have not). Safety: You never know what can happen and babies can move so fast but once baby is sleeping, I move around quickly to get things done and feel good knowing this creates a barrier or hurdle that baby won’t roll over and fall off the bed. It could have came with an elastic strap for additional security/safety. The only reason I’ve given it four stars instead of five is because I haven’t used it for very long and I’m also wondering how it will hold-up once baby gets bigger and can put more weight on it in conjunction with maybe it needing a strap for when baby grows. Overall, good buy.

Awesome product, stays in place. Very soft material.

This is so easy to use! I use it for my two year-old grandson’s nap. I don’t know that I would use it all night, but for naps I only lay it on top of the bed and you certainly could put it under a sheet or connected or securely. I hear him when he wakes up from his nap, so I’m not particularly concerned. Looks like it is well-made, and was pristine when I received it.

We’re a co-sleeping family, and our daughter has been in our bed since birth.
