All you need to know about the City Part 2. A must read for anyone who wants to get on in the city and a great follow on from part 1

unnecessary if you have the first book.

All you already knew about the city. nothing special. very repetitive, same comments all over the place. clearly needs more formatting and attention from the author.

Part I was a hard act to follow, but this second instalment just about manages it.I was worried that Part II would be the same old topics rehashed for the sake of milking Part I's success. I do detect an element of that, but I nonetheless feel like this book has standalone value: it builds on the first one, but takes an international slant, revealing some of the more exotic financial creatures one can find lurking around London, New York, Hong Kong and so on.On occasion the book sacrifices depth for breadth (dealing with Keynesian economics in half a page, for example), but that aside, the author has chosen a good selection of topics and explained the basics of them beautifully.
