Nantucket Bike Basket CoGull Collection Child Bicycle Basket

Very cute, fits the bike perfectly.Only 1 issue, the leather straps to hold the basket broke in less than 2 weeks, in the middle of a bike ride while carrying a water bottle & snack so the weight was much less than the limit. We made new, stronger straps on our own so our daughter could keep her adorable basket.

Ordered this basket in pink for my daughter's Cannondale Girl's 16" Trail bike. Her bike doesn't have the cross-bar at the top of the handle bars, so it had to hang on the bottom. This made the basket rub the tire. I simply ran a screw through the brake mount in the top of the forks, just enough to have the basket at a nice angle. I cut a piece of rubber heater-hose the length of the bottom of the basket, and mounted the hose to the screw. This had the basket resting on the hose. I ran a zip-tie through the center of the hose, and connected two zip-ties through the bottom of the basket at each end of the hose. All of this was done in less than an hour using items that were just lying around.The basket I received is well made of real wicker, not plastic. It has an authentic hand-made quality that is simply hard to find these days.100% satisfied.

I purchased my daughter a 16 inch pink Electra Cruiser. I wanted a basket so she could put her blanket, juice and puppy in when we went for a bike ride. We found this basket (pink) at a local bike shop and she absolutely loves it! Highly recommend this basket for kids bicycles 16" or smaller. This basket would be too small for a teen bicycle 20" or larger. :)
