Once again, Seller please, Where is this made/machined?

Am just a buyer of a gift, which our son likes very much for pushing down sauerkraut in jars. Do not know any other product details. Sorry.

Sarah, there is no information on the stick itself or the labels. Mine is still in the plastic bubble wrap. The two labels (one on bubble wrap and one on the wood itself) do not have any information about the origin of the stick, where made, etc. I checked the web site, too. They have no info listed - neither does Amazon. You can contact them thru the web site. It does say that it is a tropical wood and it is one piece - not two pieces glued together. Nice stick but no origin is mentioned. Sorry.

The item weight is listed as 2.4 oz. That doesn't seem very heavy and substantial to me. Is that correct?

Weight: 14 - 15 ounces. Returned home. Weight according to kitchen spice scale is 14 - 15 ounces. Good weight, heft and handling! Prior answer while on the road: sorry, not at home so can't weigh it. However, it is definitely hefty enough to do a good job and I am a small person. Yes, using it requires some elbow grease but the finish is very smooth and nicd: e. I've really enjoyed it for crushing my ferments.

Would this work well when using a 1/2 gal wide mouth mason jar?
