The Ancient Magus' Bride Vol. 9

I got into this manga series thanks to the anime actually. I watched the first episode and was completely sucked into Chise's story. I went out and got the manga was was happy to find the anime was following it pretty much page for page. I've very much looking forward to the next season.I'm from the UK and I fell in love with the obvious nods to British folklore and mythology, it's a fair treat to see my own countries folklore and mythology from a different cultures prospective. Kore Yamazaki has done a beautiful job of interpreting British folklore and her artwork is absolutely stunning.The story she is telling is also fascinating, dark, beautiful and intriguing and it draw's you in as much as the art work. The charters suck you into Chise's story and you find yourself totally engulfed in her struggles and trails, but it's not just her story, Elisa Ainsworth is just as much of a mystery and both Elisa and Chise's journey will suck you in.I don't want to spoil this volume but I will say that it take's a cold hard look at victimhood and the ways in which people cope when terrible things happen to think. it will make you think and some might find it uncomfortable but I honestly found it fascinating and refreshing and it was an interesting insight into Chise's charter.I cant wait for volume ten :)

ce tome est bien dans la continuité de la série, élias et chisé après s’être éloigné, se rapproche a la fin. et commence un nouveau cycle, car chiré va au collège, bien sur avec élias.j'ai hâte de me procuré la suite....ce manga se lit assez vite et les dessins sont bien fait!!!!

Rien à dire arrivé en avance et de très bonne qualité.
