A Short and Plesant Read
Zurich Axioms are a set of twelve major axioms and sixteen minor axioms about risk and returns. The axioms are distilled from long experience of author's father , who was head of a Swiss bank in New York. The author has also drawn upon his own experience of investing in stocks on Wall Street. The best thing about Zurich Axioms is that the author considers investment in stocks as well as investment in real estate or precious metal as well as investment in business venture as speculation. The book is a good compilation of various aspects of investment such as Risk, Greed, Hope, Forecasts, Intuition, Stubbornness, Consensus etc. The book advocates short to medium term investing rather than long term investing. A short but pleasant read.

A good contradiction
This book challenges a lot of existing beliefs, it should be taken with a pinch of salt. A definite eye opener, not all investing quotes can be applied in real life and a lot of us would be able to relate to what is being said in this book.

Excellent
Great reading, after spending few years in stock market and trying all the tricks in public domain, losing some money, this book opens another dimension for me on investment world. Very interesting narrative and interesting perspectives, I was able to extrapolate few axioms to personal life on relations and career management as well
