Consistent bold quality and freshness with great value for money
I have ordered many packs of Kitchen Jungle over the past 6 months and I have to say this - it’s one of those few brands that has maintained consistency of quality in terms of bold, green cardamom and its freshness every time. The size never disappoints - 8mm or close always and the color is bright green, a mark of freshly harvested cardamom - not the pale green or light yellow of cardamom that has been harvested some time before and is drying. The flavor is intense and aromatic and one or two pods go a long way in enhancing the flavour of a dish. This specific pack is also great value for money. Also, every pack comes with OxySorb that keeps the moisture out.

Value for Money
Value for money, considering what you are getting, and how you are receiving it. I live in Kerala. These cardamom are the rejects of 8 mm cardamom. Yes, there are 8 mm cardamom in the bottle, BUT, they have hardly any seeds in them, almost empty shells. There are smaller 4 mm cardamom, the bottle is an assorted bunch. If you buy 100 grams directly from south Kerala, the price is the same as Amazon + shipping, but you will get better quality. The CRISTA brand on Amazon proved to be better, but it is for Rs.560 for 100 grams, so that should indicate what to expect in a product being sold for Rs.200 lower, where delivery and the cost of being on the Amazon Market have to be accounted for. If one buys from Kerala, you will probably pay about Rs.100 for shipping, and no returns - a secure benefit with Amazon. So Yes, with such understanding, the product is value for money, because we mainly use it to flavour our tea ! Paisa vasool.
