McFarlane Toys Star Trek Captain Jean-Luc Picard Collectible Action Figure

There has been another quality Star Trek figures that I have and love, but these new ones are something else.Up until this moment I haven't found any con, everything is pros:-The sculpture is amazingly detailed and very well done, its pretty evident in the likenesses, flawless, and also, in the body proportions, that are more realistic than other figures that tend to be more stylized and give all the characters hero body types. It seems trivial, but its very important for the realism of the figure. You see Kirk and Picard side to side and you realize that they have their distinctive body types, and are different between them.-Another strong point, is of course, the painting. Its very realistic, very subtle, very detailed, amazing for the size and for mass produced figures.-The articulations are good as well, they have made a good job of trying no to let the articulations interfere with the sculpture, to the point that in some poses they seem statuettes instead of action figures.-The packaging is nice, nothing spectacular, but the figures look good in it (if that is your thing). The accessories are ok, phasers, a interchangeable hand to hold the phaser, communicator and phaser rifle for Kirk and a the ressikan flute as seen in "The inner light" for Picard, which is a nice touch and a cool easter egg.-The price, very affordable given the quality of the figures.All in all, I'm pretty happy with my purchase (both Kirk and Picard), and I can't wait for other figures coming out, I expect them to keep this level of quality and I hope we can have all Star Trek crews in the form of McFarlane figures as soon as possible.

Brilliant figure! Better resemblance than the other figure of the series (Kirk, it is awesome too) and outstanding quality. Definitely recommended!

As the first Picard high end figure in years, I love this figure and bought it quick when it was available. The figure is very detailed, and great to own. That said, the face is a bit off. The Kirk figure looks just like Shatner, but something is off with the face of this figure (around the cheekbones and eyes it seems).

Bought both Picard and Kirk, thoroughly impressed with the sculpt has an amazing likeness to the onscreen appearances of the characters, Great articulation and accessories. a must buy for fans of star trek!The only downside to my figure was that the figure stand was missing from my sealed box. I assume this to be a manufacturing error however it does not detract from the superb quality of the product

The likeness is astonishing. Just the way the figure stands is so strongly suggestive of Patrick Stewart playing Picard. I love that one of the accessories is the Ressikan flute (from “the Inner Light”); at least that’s what I think it is. I can’t really speak to the playability of the figure — for me it’s just a display piece. It doesn’t strike me as ridiculously dynamic from an articulation standpoint, but it certainly seems poseable enough to satisfy most people. Highly recommended.
