Used these for drilling into marble award bases. I got no more than 3/4 inch out of each bit. That's if you go super slow, barely contacting with each try. If you lean on them, you get less, maybe 1/2". Depends what you're drilling (obviously) but I got through 3 bits to a 1.5" deep hole. I drilled 2 holes, used water cooling on the second hole but made no difference.Did the job though, just do the maths on the hole you need. Assume 1/2" per bit to be safe.

They worked really well on porcelain tiles.The wax inside them lasted too.I would definitely buy again

As a bathroom fitter I've used a lot different much more expensive bits,and I would say that these are not bad then the premium brands.I have managed to drill around 15 holes in porcelain tiles and the bit is still alive,just don't put to much pressure on it and cool it down with water.Very impressed, definitely will bay again.

These do not last very long, lucky to get a few holes out of it before it needs to go in the bin. Good job it came as a 10 pack or I would have been off to buy more.

Cheap and did the job managed to get 4 holes per drill piece same as the so called heavy duty ones from Screwfix where I paid £16 for 1 piece

I’ve used a few different types of tile drill bits over the years, I usually go for a product which costs almost double the price of this 5 pack for a single bit! Thought I’d give these a try and was shocked that they actually performed as good if not better than my usual choice! And you get 5….I’ve used them to drill through 20mm thick porcelain, doesn’t get much tougher…follow the instructions, important to angle the bit and rotate, and they work pretty effortlessly. Don’t worry about the ‘too good to be true’ price, these work.
