Was very easy to set up, works very well for what I photograph 10/10 will buy again

Very easy to use; power can be turned way down for more subtile light on one side of your subject.

When I got the unit it didn’t work at all, it had been dropped a couple times. Went to replace the bulbs and the flush tube it soldered to the board and cannot be replaced…. Spent a lot of time and a little money on replacement parts

The hole in the stand fitting is too small for the standard 5/8" stud (baby pin). That's a deal breaker for me.Full power gives f8 at ten feet at 100 iso, but the beam angle is wider than most speed lights.Recycle time at full power is 1.5-1.7 seconds.The output is nicely consistent, and it never varies more than 1/10th of a stop between flashes. This 1/10th of a stop consistency seems to hold over the entire range of the adjustable output, from the lowest power setting to the highest power setting.The power dial reduces the power over a 5 stop range (down to 1/32nd of full power). The power number scale goes from "1.0" to "6.0," but the increments of that scale do not align with the 5 stops in the range (i.e. "5.0" is not 1 stop less than "6.0)."

You get what you pay for and this strobe isn't very expensive.It is bright enough for many situations, the recycle time isn't too bad and the output is consistent.The modeling light is a joke and they must know that. I would have rather it did not come with a modeling lamp and was $5.00 less expensive.

This Strobelight is surprisingly better than I thought.
