why cannot a person just soak in it rather than drink it? The skin is like a sponge for this sort of thing.

I mix approx 1/4 c crystals with 3/4c water and use a cotton ball to saturate my face and neck.  You will find MSM listed as a main ingredient in most anti-aging skin products.  It improves skin tone but also when I have a cold it seems to reduce sinus swelling.  I use it in a spray bottle on dog skin issues.  It completely cleared major dog skin problems and ear issues.  Takes about 2 weeks on dogs to clear fungus in dog ears but then swabbing ears every few weeks keeps them clear.  I am amazed at what this did for my dog. I read that MSM does go through the skin very well and taking it orally can cause upset GI issues for some ppl (and dogs).

each teaspoon is 4 grams and 3 t to each Tablespoon so each T has 12 grams and there are 455 grams to a pound so you would get almost 38 Tablespoons

It says it's organic but the label doesn't show any organic certifications.  Is it really organic?

yes,  a lot of organic products are not certified because the have to pay a lot of money which causes them to increase the price of the products. check whole food 365 organic coconut water, the have 2 identical and organic same ingedients and 1 only says organic for $3.99 the other is certified organic for $8.00. in short,  i start buying the mon certified organic!
