Let me first preface this review with 2 things. Number one, I have used expensive hair products and gone to high end salons and never had a product feel effective or worth the money. Number 2, I thought my natural hair color was "dishwater" blonde mixed with gray and other shades of blonde. After using this product I can say for the first time it made my hair softer and prettier than any product or visit has. My hair is now golden blonde, all the dingy dishwater color is gone and what is left is a beautiful blend of blondes and silver and much more manageable and less frizzy. This stuff is AMAZING!

15/10! I have been struggling with dry, brittle hair and saw a hairdresser use this product on YouTube(Sammy). First try blew my mind! My hair texture transformed! My hair was curlier and more elastic. Did my normal curly hair routine and my curls BLEW MY MIND! For the price and results: 🗣️ RUN AND BUY IT! FYI: Hard water is destroying your hair.

I have well water with a significant amount of iron and rust, so mineral buildup in my hair has always been a challenge. My hairstylist recommended the Malibu C Hard Water Wellness Remedy treatments, and I can definitely see why. This system does an excellent job removing buildup and leaves my hair feeling noticeably cleaner, healthier, and more manageable. After using it, my hair feels soft and refreshed without the heavy residue that hard water can leave behind. All three products are straightforward to use, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The products also fit well in my shower, which is definitely a plus. One reason I'm giving this product 4 stars instead of 5 is the scent. While it isn't enough to keep me from using the product, I find the fragrance quite strong and would prefer something more subtle. That said, the results make it well worth using. I would highly recommend this system to anyone dealing with hard water or well water, especially if you color your hair. It's also a great product to use before hair appointments to help prepare your hair for highlights or other color services. Even though I am transitioning to city water, I plan to continue using this product periodically to help maintain the health and condition of my hair. Overall, it's an effective treatment that delivers noticeable results. The value for this product is unmatched.

This works really well to make my hair softer. It did great to remove the hard water buildup. I really like this stuff. I have oily hair and it didn’t add more oil.

I have been living in Utah for 4 years and the hard water is no joke. It has done a number on my wavy hair. I can never seem to control the frizz and/or brittle ends despite having a good routine for my hair. However, after using these products just once, I noticed a crazy good difference! Even my ends that have been dry and broken off for the last several years are soft and holding the curls/waves again! I am so happy with the purchase! The price is so good too compared to other products that claim to have the same affect. This was worth every penny!

I got my hair colored again last Saturday. I have shoulder length fine bright blonde hair with multicolored streaks shades of blonde/light brown hair within. I have been coloring my hair blonde for 25 years - since I was 12. I really take pride in my hair, it’s expensive to do, so I really want to take care of it. I had to cut six inches off due to the hard water damage from the last six months of hard water life at our apartment complex. 6 months ago, I got married and we moved to another Northern California town with hard water and gross minerals in it. I no longer had the soft water that I typically use on my hair! My stylist noticed the difference in color and texture as my hair was turning duller and flatter, my scalp was itching like crazy and I was losing more hair than usual. This time she used the extensive Malibu C treatment 45 minutes ahead of coloring and recommended that I purchase this Malibu C detoxing set (along with another weekly purple toning shampoo to keep up the brightness) so to minimize the hard water damage to my hair. She shampooed my hair and deep conditioned it with Malibu C products as well. I absolutely loved the scent - it’s a very clean, not overpowering scent that does not smell like chemicals. I especially love that it is 100% VEGAN. I’ve gotten more aware of environmental toxics and pollutions over the last year so I really appreciate that the Malibu C company formulated the shampoo & conditioner this way - as well as it has the cruelty free bunny on the label, as it is not tested on animals. My hair was lighter, brighter and healthier. My only (and decent sized) issue? This box describes not just a 9oz bottle of shampoo and a 9oz bottle of conditioner, but describes 4 packets of “Hard Water Wellness Remedy” which was not in the small space in the box that was allotted for it :( :( :( I double checked the description on Amazon for this box as well, it also describes 4 packets that I didn’t get! It’s really a bummer because I really really love everything else about this package! This review would have been 5 stars, I gave 2 off for the lack of small packets and the inconvenience that caused because I now have to do one of the below: 1) exchange this and not wash my hair for a week with this shampoo 2) Keep it and deal with not having the small packets. But then I’ll need to buy an additional set of small packets separately for $7 (the current cost on Amazon to purchase a set of them) and eat the cost. Neither option is very appealing to me. So: The score is 3/5 overall or a 65% A 5/5 for scent A 2/5 for packaging A 5/5 for speed And for actual use of product? A 5/5. I can’t get past the missing packets though. . :(

Saved my hair!! Just moved to the midwest from New York without even thinking about my hair. For the first ten days I used to get out of the shower absolutely sobbing because my roots were already greasy and the mids/ends were breaking off to no end. I found this product through Reddit and got it delivered next day. Within 3 days of regular use (and one treatment) I was back to the soft and manageable hair I had before leaving NY. The only thing is now that my hair’s levels are more normal, the treatment on top of conditioner can be too heavy for my hair and it will grease up again quicker than usual. I stopped using conditioner in conjunction with treatment day and it’s back on track. Stuff is costly, but worth it.

I don’t write reviews, let alone leave images of myself. But goodness. This stuff impressed me so much, here I am. I have recently highlighted my hair, and it was starting to get brassy. So I thought using a purple shampoo would help. That made my hair dry, tangled, and I barely noticed anything. Then my hair startled tangling and getting brittle and brassy no matter leaving the purple shampoo in for 20 minutes. I used this stuff just now. My hair feels SOFT. It did not tangle, it did not stick together, and I wasn’t expecting any color effects, but the brass seems to have decreased significantly! I will continue to use this shampoo. I am so relieved and pleased. My hair feels light and healthy. Very effective ✅ I don’t have a before photo, but I wish I had taken one. It was looking nasty. Ok, it won’t allow me to upload the image without giving access to my whole library. Sorry, no photos, but it’s pretty, promise !

Love this stuff! My hair has gotten so soft & healthy again! Currently stationed in Germany, the are i'm in has high levels of lime & chaulk. It totally killed my hair. I used this set when i lived in Arizona, also hard water but it wasn't as bad on my hair. So i bought it again, only thing that has fixed ny hair. I used the shampoo/conditioner 1-2x wk & i use a packet every 1-2 wks depending on how my hair is feeling. When i first started using i was doing wkly packet treatments. Highly recommend! A little of the shampoo/conditioner go a long way! My hair is mid upper arm length, normal thickness & fine texture. I use about a Nickel size of shampoo & quarter size of conditioner on my mid to ends.

These products work brillantly! I rate the product 5-stars... however, opening the package, the lids were loose and the bottles slightly slippery, so some content of the shampoo and conditioner spilled, but thankfully only a little. We are on tank water (rain water), surrounded by a dusty environment, very soft pH level. And over the years my hair has felt dull, lifeless and like there was a silicone residue coating my hair. I had tried all the amazing brand shampoo and conditioners, clarifying shampoos and nothing really worked. Malibu C Hard Water Wellness Collection has been a life saver! Especially the crystals, it really cuts through it all. If you have similar, also consider adding a filter to your shower head, this is another thing I did. Both have helped.

I don't usually find the time to make reviews but I have to get others on to this! For years I have struggled because I live in the South East and the water here is so hard and it didn't matter what shampoo I used I would always have a greasy film over the roots especially of my hair where the product would interact with the minerals in the water. Anyway, after washing with this I didn't have high hopes but it blew me away. My hair felt light, soft and not greasy build up!!! I even managed to be able to leave my hair for longer between washes which is another great bonus. I think it is decent value for money because it actually solves the problems I was having completely. It smells great too and is pretty easy to use - the sachets you have to be careful and is the only tricky part but they are essential to the process!!! Couldn't be happier to have found this product!
