FindingKing Glass Top Jewelry Display Case Box Black 24 Gem Jars

I bought 2 of these for beginning rock collections for my grandsons. I can tell you the sight of these cases has impressed their young minds that gem stones are very special – they are really paying attention, not to mention they feel proud to have them.The cases are very nicely thought out having tightly fitting containers that do not come apart too easily holding items firmly. The black inserts can be cut down or hollowed out depending on what one wishes to store. Also, if some samples are too thick for the cases you can take the inserts hollow them and insert them without the container. The resulting display is impressive, and as I have said the grand boys are taking this seriously (had they simply gifted the rocks in a bag I’m sure they’d be over it already.)The cases came quite quickly and in perfect condition. This is a good product at a great price. I use it to display the gold I find when I go prospecting. The clear glass top showcases each container inside similar to a museum display. The construction is solid but the locking clasp is slightly loose (wiggles sideways). This does not affect the overall function of the display or the ability for the case to close securely. I am very pleased and recommend this product.

These cases I originally got to store my stones for my own personal organization and cataloging, but after getting them in and seeing the appearance of the case I decided to use them with customers as well. I can pull out the case and let them select the stones they want to use and it all looks far more professional than presenting them loose stones on a velvet mat. They even commented they they enjoyed getting to see the stones being in individual cups and then inside a glass top case. I will be buying more in the future

The only thing I did not like was the black foam. I used the plastic display cups to make pressed imprints on small pieces of sheet black felt, then I made round cutouts of black felt to fit inside the cups and on top of the black foam. This kept the black foam from getting on my coins. It took some time to do but it was worth to effort and made the perfect for a coin collection display case. The hard part was cutting down the thickness of the foam which was too thick to accept the felt cutouts. I also make a paper label for the bottom of the cups. I made it work and, in the end, I bought 4 more of these cases.

This was a gift for my grandson who collects rocks and minerals. It is sturdy and the individual cups large enough for a variety of samples.

This is a great case--has individual plastic circles to store items--I used it to store mementos from our Europe trip. There is foam that holds the cases in place. I was really surprised with the quality--very nice for the price

Very suitable case for holding and displaying part of my gemstone collection. The watch glass jars are easy to label and number on the bottom, and hold the individual gems securely under their covers. I too, like others have mentioned, wish they were a little deeper, but have found they work for the majority of my gem collection. A great storage and display case for gems!

I use this to display the larger stones in my mineral collection. It is very customizable, although the designers probably did not intend it to be customized---I sometimes cut the height of the foam inserts in the jars by half to be able to fit a stone better under the lid, for instance, and this works rather well. I also own the version with smaller jars and more spaces. It is sturdy enough for an immobile display, although I have never had occasion to test how it withstands transport.

Well made product. Clasp is sturdy and the discs are perfect for small gem stones. This the second one I have purchased.

This product would be fantastic were it not for the strangely large foam inserts in the plastic containers. They are very thick and it is impossible to put anything but the tiniest item on them and still be able to put the lid on. The foams should really be much thinner or have a space or 'cut' in them to fit items. A strange omission for an otherwise good product.
