Clear instructions for initial setup & install, easy to use
I picked this unit up after discovering that the brains of the unit are ESP8266 based so should I ever want, I can hack it and flash different firmware on it. I've been wanting a local weather station that I can view it's data from either online, or via a website. I'm a bit bummed that it doesn't run a local webserver showing all it's data, but I did get a copy of the firmware from the OEM when I reached out, and since it's an ESP based device, enabling a webserver for local data collection shouldn't be too difficult.Setting up the unit physically took about 10 minutes, the hardest part was getting the unit mounted to the pole one handed, while making sure it was level so that the wind direction sensor would show properly (and then discovering I misread the instructions and mounted it pointing the wrong way)The unit's external sensor is pretty straightforward, you can either screw it to something, or mount it to a post. If your house\garage isn't perfectly facing north\south I'd suggest doing pole mount. I'll be buying a proper yard stake to mount it completely today in the yard away from curious toddler fingers.My initial complaint was that it doesn't show up on the network once it joins, but you can actually make it show up locally! In the manual it explains how to activate WiFi connection mode, and doing that once connected to a wireless network allows you to then view the local webserver. The webserver seems to time out after 5 minutes, but that's plenty of time to update credentials on it for WeatherUnderground or WeatherCloud.Speaking of, setting up my accounts for both of those and getting data pushed to them was super simple. I was impressed. WeatherUnderground works best if you tell it your device is a "Raspberry Pi" instead of "Other" and WeatherCloud works best telling it that it's an Ecowitt device. The updates happen roughly every minute. I haven't sniffed the traffic to see just how much data that ends up consuming, but be aware if you have a super limited plan or plan to run this on cellular at a remote locationThe large sensor array does require 3 AA batteries to power on, but also has a solar panel. I'd assume the solar panel will power the device during sunny days and then fall back to AA power when dark\cloudy. The manual suggests that it should last about a year with the batteries installed, but keep this in mind when installing it so that you don't put it somewhere that makes it difficult to replace batteries in the future. Knowing I would have to change batteries changed my decision from mounting it at the peak of my garage to putting it on a pole in my yard.All in all pretty impressed with it, seems to do exactly what you want, and the display unit is great to get a quick glance if you don't want to pull out your phone, or if you have family who want info without needing to locate your weather station online.

Good but not durable.
The display is very nice and easy to read. The weather station is compact and was easy to install on top of a fence post. Only problem is that the rain sensor and wind speed sensor both quit working after about six months. Been installed for a year and six months, the other sensors are still working ok. Did not report and not worth the bother to take it down and send it back. Keeping as is until I buy a different one.Update: Since found out that unplugging and restarting gets all functions working again. But needs this every couple months so still a pain. Up one star.

Lots of information on an easy to read display.
The setup is easy and the transmitter is easy to install. I still haven’t tried everything yet. The display can also be put in sleep mode to darken the screen. I like that it remains plugged in with a battery backup. One of these days I’ll consider connecting to my phone but I have not used that option yet. The temperature transmitter also has a small screen in case your outside and want to see how hot or humid it is. So far, worth the money. (We we’re in a dry spell for a bit so I wanted to make sure that the rain gauge was accurate before posting this.)

Nice Weather Station, Easy to Setup, Uploads to Wunderground
Followed the included instruction manual had this device setup and working in less than an hour. Device is configured to my wifi and transmitting weather data to wunderground and weathercloud. To check accuracy I compared my reading to other stations uploading to wunderground in my neighborhood and the readings match. The display is great (see photo).

Mostly does what it says, but could be better
It reports the weather as it says, but I could not figure out how to get it online like the directions say and found that overall the instructions could be improved across the board. I also question the accuracy a bit because when it first came I tried it out inside before installing it outside. It reported measurable rain while indoors so I am not confident in the accuracy.The physical installation was pretty simple, but they could tell you what pole diameter you need for the bracket if you are pole mounting (I did not). The main reason for my low score on installation is because the directions were not that clear and I couldn't get it to connect to the web like it says you can.

Familiar = Fantastic!!
This product, and it's customer support deserve 8 out of 5 stars! The amount of information it provides, coupled with remote access for the price is unreal. I'm a weather nerd and this product complete satisfies me. Customer support is fantastic! Very courteous and kind seller.

Patience with setup but ultimately works well
Nice crisp easy to read screen. Has been working now for about 4 months with no issues requiring troubleshooting. Setup is not for the inpatient. Directions are hard to follow at times, connection to wifi took some resetting and resetting but it got there and now holds signal. I should mention I'm technically saavy so I even found the setup troublesome but ultimately it works. Nice bright clear and large display which is a plus. I do have a gripe with the Feels Like temp as the Real feel or Wind Chill was the feature I most wanted... however the Feels Like temp and the outdoor temp always is the same. I see previous post with picture posted of the screen and see theirs is doing the same. I've tried all settings I can find so far and can't get a solution to it. If anyone else solves it, let me know ok? Other than that, I'm pleased and it connects all data to Wunderground etc so that's cool too. Patience is key but you'll enjoy.

Easy to install does everything I need it to do
After months of searching and comparing I purchased this item. Setup was easy and I have it on the weatherunderground site (kinevans85). Very accurate as I compared readings to other weather stations in the area.
