Finally getting relief from PF
I've struggle with pretty bad PF in my heel (I've had PF once before but it was pain in my arch - this heel pain is awful!). I've had it for about 6ish weeks and was trying pretty much everything and finally, at the end of my rope, I ordered this sock. It just felt like I was starting over from scratch every morning so thought that keep my foot in this position would allow the healing overnight to stay vs reopening any healing that happened when my foot was relaxed while sleeping. In 4 nights of wearing, the pain is almost gone first thing in the morning and I now have no pain at all during the day. I can't believe I struggled for so many weeks and it only took 4 nights to make this much of a difference. This sock has worked so good! However, it does take some getting used to sleeping with the foot in this locked position but being in pain all the time is the other option so the trade off is worth it. However, some things I wish were different on this sock: Material causes the foot to sweat pretty decently. I remedied that by wearing a thin ankle sock and it's not as bad. The rubber bottom - I would prefer it not have this. Not only does it hang up in the bedsheets, it also gets hung up on the carpet and I've almost fallen walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night because of this. Since this is a sleeping sock, that grip is really not needed in my opinion and I wish there was a way to remove it. The ankle velcro piece could use a "tab" to grab to do/undo it. I keep grabbing for the name label that's sewn in the same area and pulling on it thinking it's the velcro piece and when it's down on the ankle part, trying to pull it up isn't the easiest (which is good, it's good strong velcro to hold it). A pull tab to help would be nice. I can't imagine if I arthritis in my hands being able to pull it up how it is. Overall, it's been great, it's the one thing in the array of PF "fixes" that has allowed all the other things (massage, rolling, ice etc) that help PF to stay and actually accomplish and keep the progress to healing going and not going backwards every morning. Well worth it if you are struggling with PF!

No significant improvement
First off, my foot is barely at the angle it needs to be at night to be effective secondary to the ankle strap being too stretchy. If the strap is shorter i feel like I’m losing circulation at the bend of my ankle / foot because the fabric bunches and pushes against my skin. I haven’t seen much improvement.

Good brace. Just didn't fit me right.
There are no easy solutions when it comes to plantar fasciitis. You have to do the work. Stretch your feet every morning and after periods of immobility. You have to wear insoles. But braces at night can do a lot to help. To prevent the plantar fascia from tightening and shortening. In my opinion, there are three options. Hard posterior braces (boot), soft socks, and hybrids like this trying to give the support of a boot but the comfort of a sock with anterior bracing. The goal is the same, to keep you from pointing your toes as you sleep and letting the plantar fascia shrink. You don't need to pursue crazy acute angles, just keep the foot at 90 degrees. Thats why these socks and hybrids work so fine. They allow you more movement intentionally but won't let you completely rest your foot. The hard posterior braces work the best but for many they are clunky and too uncomfortable to wear all night. It drove me crazy and so I didn't wear it, and didn't get better. For the socks and hybrids approaches I urge you to try several and find what works for you. No solution/product fits everyone. I've found the it's the small differences in sizing and positioning of components between brands are what make for a success or failure. Thats why you see in the reviews everyone loves or hates a product. It all depends on how it fits them. I really liked this brace, but ultimately it didn't work for me. The toe box was too big on my foot so it was loose. And I felt it just hyperextended my toes more than my foot/plantar fascia. It was very comfortable otherwise. If you have a bigger foot I think it would work well. Like I said, you just have to try different braces and find the one that fits you the way you need.

Highly recommend and I’ve tried a lot of sleeves
Okay- this sleeve is the best. I tried bought others first and didn’t like all the straps and Velcro. I think I returned two different ones. It’s too busy. I like the one and done clip in the front. Also- I have had plantar fasciitis in both feet for approximately 15 years off and on because I used to weigh 315 pounds. Now I weigh 150 pounds (for 20 years ) so, I will get the plantar fasciitis for a while, then it will go away, and then it comes back. I did permanent damage to my feet being that large.. with this sleeve, I was trying to put too big of a stretch in my foot at night and it felt like my foot was burning right under my big toe and in my heel. I started taking this sleeve off in the middle of the night due to foot pain. I read online that this sleeve will work just fine if you have it just loosely clipped up. You don’t need that big of a stretch for it to work 100%. So, easy does it and I really think you’re going to like the sleeve. It’s simple and works great.

Worthless
Pros: Great idea, but poorly designed and implemented Appears to be well constructed in terms of stitching and material Cons: Bad implementation Bad sizing Won’t stay on your foot Obviously not tested I did reach out to the seller/manufacturer first. Their response was basically “meh”. First of all it doesn’t fit. The sock part that your foot goes into is fine but the ankle strap is way too long. For a “medium” the minimum ankle circumference the strap will fit is 10 inches and my ankle at that point is 9 inches. So when I put it on I cannot get the ankle strap snug enough to hold the sock properly on my foot. The sizing chart indicates the largest ankle size that the strap will fit, but not the smallest. Second issue is the tension strap; the strap that pulls on your toe; which again is way too long relative to the sock. Even using the strap in the “extra tension” mode the strap still attached at the end of the Velcro. Then there is the sock itself. The inside is the same ultra-smooth nylon as the outside. There is nothing to keep the sock from sliding off your foot. Pulling in the tension strap pulls on the toe of the sock which pulls the entire sock off your foot; IF you pull on the strap to the point it is applying tension; but at that point there is no way to attach the strap. I’m quite sure this would not stay on a person’s foot through a night of sleep and one wouldn’t get a good nights sleep because they would be waking up throughout the night to put it back on. Maybe a size “Small” would work better for me, I don’t know, but as I said the manufacture was really not helpful. I was really hopeful about this product, but it is horribly designed and the manufacturer is no help about what to do. Maybe the factory simply didn’t grasp what the designer was trying to accomplish. Either way I’ll look elsewhere.

Flaws in design…
First of all, I’d like to say I believe this product has the potential to help. I personally bought this after suffering with PF for over a month. Unfortunately, the design has some flaws. I’ll list them in order of me noticing each flaw: 1. The bottom of the sock is non slip/rubber.. not sure why that’s needed for a brace that you’re wearing to bed. It makes moving your foot difficult in the bed. It sticks to the sheets and messes them up and hinders your movement. Actually it caused me to wake up several times throughout the night as I’d move my legs or turn over. 2. The sock narrows at the toes. For me, my foot widens at the ball of the foot and doesn’t really narrow in at the toes. I don’t specifically have wide feet, but it does seem to squeeze my toes together. Also my second toe is longer than my big toe and it seemed to be a bit scrunched. 3. The worst of them all…. The seams from where they sewed the Velcro attachment at the toe is rough! The first night I used this, I woke up to my big and pink toes sore. My big toe felt as though I had an ingrown toenail and my pink toenail felt as though it had been pulled up all night. (May I mention that my toenails are not long.) I figured it was the seam of the sock, but after trying to wear it the second night I couldn’t stand it and removed it. Upon inspection, I could feel the rough seam. There needs to be a layer between the seams or something placed on the backing of the seam to prevent irritation. 4. The material is NOT breathable. I believe it is neoprene, it feels like a can coozy. It’s thick and made my foot sweat. Unfortunately, two thumbs down. Design needs to be updated. The sock needs to be made from a better material, it needs to be a bit wider in the toe area, and the sewing/seams need to be covered to avoid irritation. I believe if those issues were addressed, this item could actually work. But for me, I will continue my search for PF relief. **will update my review with photos or video*

Who Thinks Up These Things?
Not sure what other people are doing who negatively reviewed this product, because it does exactly what it says it’s supposed to do. Is it comfortable? Not sure. But, is it supposed to be comfy like a slipper? I don’t think so. I was just diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and the link to this item was literally left in my email by my doctor for this particular sling (she should get a kickback). Very easy to operate. My suggestion would be to make sure your toes are comfy before you secure the ankle strap. And the piece that pulls your toes and ankle up is pretty self-explanatory, and does the trick. I read reviews, I looked at the size chart, and I decided to go with kind of a combination. I have a size 9 foot, but I have a 9 inch ankle and went with the small. I think the medium would have worked as well, but I am comfortable and secure with this one. I’ve only used it one night, and I did take it off halfway through the night because there is an adjustment to this feeling. I have to say that this morning my heel wasn’t as bad as it typically is when I get out of bed. I don’t really have a comparison to value because I’ve never purchased any kind of equipment remotely like this but since I didn’t have to take a loan, I guess the price is good and it seemed to be comparable with the rest of these slings listed on Amazon. And at the end of the day if this helps and I can stand which I have to do for my career all day in comfort, I will pretty much pay whatever and go through whatever kind of crazy contraptions my doctor advises. It is well made. I didn’t need instructions to figure it out. I did watch the original video shown with the listing.

By Far Best Plantar Fasciitis Foot Brace
This is the only Plantar Fasciitis foot brace that works. I have tried them all. It is a bit uncomfortable if one has size 12 feet, but it still works. You can buy more comfortable ones, but I have not found them effective. For a size 12 foot, I would not wear it at night but just for a few hours during the day. That seems to be sufficient.

Top!
Für Plantarfasziitis gekauft. Passt gut, sehr bequem, individuell einstellbar. Genau was ich gesucht habe. Habe vorher schon zwei andere Schienen/Stützen getestet, die schrott waren.
