Really good!
This was really good! This book had the romance, characters that are easy to fall for, and real-life issues that I have come to expect from Melissa Foster’s writing. This book is part of the larger Love in Bloom series but works well on its own. I found this to be a very entertaining and enjoyable read.Daisy is a new Doctor and her plans were to move to a big practice but that changed when her family needed her close. So she is working at the clinic in her hometown of Trusty, Colorado. Growing up in Trusty was hard for Daisy since she was the object of many hateful rumors. Luke runs a ranch where he breeds horses and has had a better experience in Trusty but there have been a few rumors about him as well. When the pair run into each other, they have an instant connection and I loved the chemistry between them from the start. It was great seeing them try to figure out how to fit into each other’s lives. I thought that their relationship felt very authentic and I was eager to watch them find their happily ever after.B.J. Harrison does a wonderful job in bringing the books in this series to life. He uses a nice variety of voices for both the male and female characters which adds to the listening experience. I think that he is able to add just the right amount of emotion into his reading. I believe that his narration added to my enjoyment of this story.I would recommend this book to others. I found this to be a nice romantic read with characters that were easy to care about. I cannot wait to read the next book set in Trusty, Colorado.I received a copy of this audiobook from the author/publicist.

Loved it
Loved the strong yet vulnerable lead female character, Daisy. Bullied in high school but focused, studied gard and showed those bullies by becoming a wonderful MD. Returned to her home town when her Father hurt his back. Reconnected with a man who defended her years earlier. They soon realized their love for each other and spent the balance of the book moving self created obstacles out of the way of their HEA. An excellent story by an excellent author. There are many graphic sex scenes for those sensitive to such scenes.

When love changes the future…..and the past?
In Taken By Love, Love in Bloom: The Braden’s Book #7 by Melissa Foster, Luke Braden and Dr. Daisy Honey learn that falling in love can not only change the present and the future. It can also change how you view the past.Melissa Foster expands the alpha-male quotient of the already potent Braden family as we get to know cousin Luke Braden of Trusty, Colorado, son of Hal Braden’s sister Catherine. The youngest of Catherine’s children acknowledges his rough and tumble past that comes with a reputation to match. A Harley riding bad boy with a naturally protective lover’s heart, Luke finds himself constantly dealing with others’ misconceptions of him. However, since purchasing a ranch to raise horses 2 years ago, Luke finds himself settled and is ready to find someone to share and build a life with; someone to finally connect with.Dr. Daisy Honey wants a connection, too, just anywhere but Trusty, Colorado. Daisy who recently completed medical school and residency, takes a temporary position at the Trusty urgent care clinic so she can be near her parents after her father’s recent injury. Daisy is fighting her own personal demons from the past in the form of an ugly and undeserved reputation forced upon her in high school. She wants to help her parents, but has faced the pain of being pre-judged too many times to risk staying in the town she believes has already proven she will never be good enough. However, when she is reunited with Luke, a hero figure who stood up for her so many years ago, she feels an immediate pull. Can she face Luke’s reputation along with her own troubled past and learn to forgive? Both Luke and Daisy have to deal with how their strong connection turns their lives upside-down. Luke has never felt drawn to anyone and learns more about himself as his feelings for Daisy grow. Daisy, who has overcome the pain of her teen years by avoiding the source, must learn to see her hometown and the people who live there through the eyes of an adult. Both of them must make choices about what happened to them as children and how they are going to let it affect their lives going forward. Can they find peace with the past so they can choose to move forward into the future together?Fans of the series know the answer to that question as Melissa Foster delivers once again. The real-life issues faced by Luke and Daisy, along with those of their friends and family are realistic, honest, and well developed, as are their reactions to them. Foster’s talent for building anticipation for the both her characters and readers shines through with funny dialogue and smooth character interaction.Foster seamlessly weaves the newest Braden family, brothers Luke, Wes, Pierce, Ross, and Jake, along with sister Emily into the Love In Bloom series. Luke learning to deal with the past and the father he never met with help from his uncle and cousins is well developed through numerous references to Hal’s children and their life events. Foster’s inclusion of Braden family history makes the transition from the core family into that of sister, Catherine’s natural and easy.Foster also builds a new community and cast of characters setting the stage for a lot more love in Trusty, Colorado. Insight into the small town’s history, relationships and politics breathes life into this newest locale. Foster leads readers through the streets of Trusty and introduces them to all the denizens they will be getting to know as love takes root all around them.Taken By Love by Melissa FosterGet it. Wonderful Visit to Trusty
Great story and I really fell in love with Daisy Honey and Luke Braden. I loved their initial meeting at the café where Luke saved her cake, and she doctored up his wound that he used duct tape of all things to cover. Daisy has come back to help out at her family farm while making a huge career decision and has rekindled her friendship with Luke with a possibility of maybe some romance. They’ve both been misunderstood in the past and have dealt with false accusations and past misconceptions. It was nice to see him bring her out of her shell when the last thing she wants to do is be back in the town where she escaped from once graduating high school. I liked the progression of the story and how those who were mean to her in the past came full circle and gave her the appreciation and respect she more than deserved. This was a great book and a great couple and a perfect ending with everything as it should be including a call out from Dr. Waxman. I listened to this audiobook narrated by BJ Harrison. He always does a great job and I’m used to his narration of Margie at the diner, and I thought his narration from beginning to end wrapped you up in the story.

Enjoyable
Trusty is a small town where gossips spread like wild fire, and where the community pulls together wherever and whenever required.Luke is a restless soul. He left his wild life behind and cares for his horses and farm. He loves his family, but there is a gap in his life that he can't fill.Daisy left Trusty to get away from the damaging gossips that occurred during her school year, and to realise her dream of being a big city doctor. When Daisy's father has an accident she returns home to help look after him. The town holds bad memories that's hard for her to forget. It's only temporary anyway. When she bumps into Luke, she is sort of speechless as she used to have a crush on him. Soon they spend a lot of time together. There is a connection between them that evidently turns into love. When the time comes, will she be able to walk away? How about him, will he walk away from everything he loves?Luke is dedicated to his current life and when he falls, he falls hard. He is kind and considerate. Daisy is sympathetic and she finds it hard to decide where her future lies. The family love and the community support are endearing. It's about jealousy, hurt, forgiveness and love. An enjoyable read.

Taken By Love (audio version)
The Story:I am a long time reader of Melissa Fosters book’s but this is my first one that I have listened to without having read it prior. The story is true to Melissa’s form – sweet, hot romance with lovable and relatable characters who come from large families and set in the most idyllic of places. Daisy Honey left her small town life to become a Doctor, and also to leave behind high school and the taunts and assumptions that came with having a name like Daisy Honey, but not she has returned home to take care of her father and gets a job at the clinic for the time being.Little did she plan on not only bumping into Luke Braden, but she certainly didn’t plan on falling for him hook, line and sinker! The Narrator:I wasn’t expecting a male voice actor for this book, I just think I somehow had a female voice in mind, seeing as the main story line is more focused on Daisy. That being said BJ Harrison did a great job, (though I am not entirely convinced with his female voices). He did switch seamlessly between characters and did manage to convey the emotions of the characters and oh my did I love his southern accent!

I am so glad that I did as I absolutely loved this book
I found this book while I was wondering around on the free books via Kindle Store and thought that I would give it a go. Wow! I am so glad that I did as I absolutely loved this book. I found it very hard to put down and leave alone, I found myself reading it on any spare moment that I had. The book features the characters of Daisy Honey and Luke Braden, they are both lovable and easy to relate too. The character of Luke is one that I was desperate to know more about, the author delved into the past of both the characters and let the reader become gripped on them.I normally don't get this addicted too a book but this one was different, it kept calling for me to go back and read more. You know that it is a good romance book when you wish that you had a Luke Braden in your life. He is a sweet, kind, gentle soul who matches perfectly with Daisy Honey who is very loving, tender and sweet. The love that grows between them can be easily felt by the readers, you urge them on, want the best for them.To me the best kind of romance novel is one in which the reader actually feels like they know the characters and their surroundings. Thanks to Melissa Foster's brilliant writing skills you get taken into the book, feel what the characters are feeling and feel like you do know them. I will definitely be reading all of the books written by this incredible author and I look forward to finding out more about all of the characters featured in this book, the two main ones and their families and friends. I adored this book!
