Is this clean, as is, or does it need distillation for purification for laboratory use?

i have never distilled it, as it is good in my estimates for lab work. i have hever had a problem with its purity.

Will this disolve cured silicone rubber RTV adhesive sealant?

When all else fails I use this. Xylene may work better if you are trying to get rid of RTV by MEK has removed everything that I have thrown at it, including metal etched primer. Make sure you are well ventilated with this stuff as it is STRONG.
