Nice, heavy duty.
These are nice heavy duty cord ends.If you tend to make different cords of different lengths they run out quick.

DIY Extension Cord Kit - just add wire.
I bought a 100' Amazon Extension cord and this 120vac plug ends. I'm tough on cords in my shop so being able to make custom length replacement cords is a BONUS. A bit "fiddly" in the connectors, but take your time, strip back the right about of bare wire and it's pretty easy.

The cord clamps are not great.
Good value, but the cord clamps are not great. They rely on the wire connection to hold the cord attachment to the plugs. If you plan to use them a lot, get something else.

They're ok.
The leviton brand is MUCH better quality, but it's hard to get the male ends sometimes. These really aren't that bad, but it's a PITA to get 16ga in there if you use the hooks to secure it (something I don't think hardly anyone reviewing actually understood that that's what the hooks are for). It's possible, but you'll definitely be fighting it. 18ga would be a lot easier. The contacts on the female end fall out pretty easily while you're trying to put wire in, but honestly I see that as a good thing. It makes it so much easier to work with if you install the wire with the contacts out then wiggle them back into place. Once it's all back together it's not an issue, nothing rattles around or moves.I also hope that people know and understand that these are NOT for heavy duty use. 16ag is the largest rated wire and you shouldn't be using 16ga on anything that pulls a lot of power unless you like fires. extension cords aren't "one size fits all".

Total garbage!
I wish I could give these zero stars. If you stick any decent wire in there, the brass tabs refuse to go back into the housing. The brass tabs are also just laid into the plastic and fall out as you try to attach wires or assemble the plug. The brass bends if you look at it wrong. No strain relief. Steer far away!

Easy to use cord ends.
A very good acquisition.

Great product.... if you know what you're doing.
This is a very "slim" connector and I used it to replace ends on a 14/3 extension cord. I would say you could also use it with 16/3 cord but NOT 12/3 or 18/3 (too big or too small). The thing is... you have to know how to wire these up as they are not like others that are easier to see where the wires go and have fixed/stable locations for the white/black/ground wires (see pics). This is mainly a point for the female end where each prong comes out of the casing and is sharp to the touch which makes tightening the wires down painful if you don't know what you're doing.Another point is that it REQUIRES heat shrink tubing for weather seal and strain relief. There is no clamp on the cord itself so the "strain relief" is non-existent, it pulls directly on the wire connections if you yank on the cord without heat shrink. The heat shrink tubing needs to be 3:1 ratio for 14/3 cords and 4:1 ratio for 16/3 cords.I used this heat shrink and it worked well:https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07L4GQK9Y?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
