OZCO 56617 Laredo Sunset 2-inch Rafter Clips, (10 per Pack) Set of 3

I chose to use these brackets primarily to remain consistent with the rest of the hardware. Functionally, they provide a good connection between a rafter and appropriate header/support running by. I wouldn't label them as any stronger than other L-Brackets I have seen. The reason they only get 3 stars is because the screws that are provided strip extremely easily. The powder coating comes off easy too. I contacted Ozco to see if I could get extra screws, but they never replied. (I am also hoping to get 2 more brackets because they only come in a pack of 10, but I have 11 rafters) I suggest they use 3/8" hex heads instead of phillips head screws.Pros: look nice, functionall soundCons: screws strip too easy, no ability to purchase smaller pack, a little pricey

I bought the clips to rebuild my pergola. They made the job so much easier not to have to nail or drill through rafters. They are very strong and neat and look decorative rather than throwing up a lot of hardware. It also took half the time. It looks great. We used two clips on each end, one on either side of the rafter and was well worth it. The hex head screws do not require pre-drilling. The clips are easy to line up on a small mark.

These are high quality brackets and screws. I am very happy with them and would buy them again. They made a noticeable difference in the overall sturdiness of the pergola. They have a really nice powder coat finish.

I love Ozco hardware. I wouldn't recommend any other hardware for decking materials. It looks great, it's extremely functional and well engineered. But as with anything Ozco, these rafter clips are a bit expensive.

So these increased in price by over 10.00 if I wanted to buy again. Sorry Amazon.... loves has you beat. Exactly as described, looks great very pleased
