Gaia Herbs Reishi Mushroom, 40 Vegan Capsules, 40 Servings

Quality product, made from the fruiting body. I felt a bit high the first time taking it, but I’ve never read where anyone else has experienced that, so maybe it’s just my own body chemistry. Definitely a calming effect as well. Is it the mushroom of immortality? I don’t know.

Starting open capsule and putting into my night time tea. Loved it! Relaxed but in a very gentle way. I’ve tried all the herbs, and this one might be in my top 5.

This is my first time to take Reishi mushroom as a supplement. I trust this brand, so I wanted to try it. I took it with a healthy meal in the evening, and within an hour, I got a bad headache. And I rarely get headaches. But this was a nagging headache that lasted all night. The second time I took it, I emptied out half of the capsule - and didn’t get the headache. So some people may be sensitive at first. With that said, I think it is benefiting my digestion, so I will keep working my way up to a full capsule. Worth the purchase so far, but just be aware you might have a side effect if one capsule is too much for you.

I started taking these daily in the evening and it helped me improve my sleep. Anecdotally when I pulled my latest lab panel, my cortisol levels were within range (due to the improved sleep and recovery).

I am working on reducing my coffee intake so I open up a capsule in hot water and add a drop or two of stevia and it feels like coffee but no caffeine!

Bought these because they're extracted from the fruiting body and obviously the price but I do notice a difference when compared to the mycelium based Reishi that Ive been supplementing with for the past 6-8 months. I wake up with anxiety which carries out throughout the day and it's much much more manageable now.

Haven’t taken it long enough to determine what is does. However the capsules smell good to me & that is usually a good sign.
