This Electrolux battery powered sweeper is great! It is lightweight, easy to handle, reaches under most furniture. I haven't timed the battery, but may not last as long as stated. But, it is long enough to vacuum my first floor of five rooms. It has two power settings. I use the higher one for wool throw rugs and the carpet in my bedroom. I was impressed with the suction power. The hand vac works great too. Highly recommend this sweeper. Wiil mention--when the battery is completely charged, the three lights turn off. So much nicer than dealing with my previous heavier vacuum. I plan to tell family and friends about this sweeper. A well known, reliable brand

Update 4/20/24 Very happy with this purchase. Vacuum daily with this little guy and the volume of dust and debris it picks up is pretty amazing. One note, I do clean the roller head weekly, as it picks up a lot of hair and longer elements. Cleaning it definitely seems to help the overall performance of the vacuum overall, great little vacuum. I was shopping for a cordless stick vacuum for some time and was quite shocked at the prices I was seeing. When I saw this advertised for less than half price I decided to give it a shot. I have had it for less than a week so I can't say how it'll hold up but so far I am very pleased. We have short pile carpet and hardwood and after the initial use I was amazed at what was in the dust cup. Seems to pick up everything it travels over. I have only vacuumed for 10 or 15 minutes at a time on the higher setting (which is advertised to run for 16 minutes, lower setting for 40 minutes) and battery life seems more than adequate. The dust cup removes and empties easily. And the core of the vacuum separates so you have a small handheld vacuum, perfect for stairs and tight spots. It's light enough that you just grab it and do a quick pickup, something I'm never doing with our full size vacuum. I'm not sure Electrolux is the same quality it was when I was younger but based on the Amazon reviews, and now my own experience, I'd recommend giving it a shot if you're in the market for a cordless vacuum.

This vacuum is great for tidying up and small jobs. I use it when I don’t have time to take out my full size vacuum. I find that the low setting works well on tile flooring and the high setting works for rugs. However, I did notice that vacuuming items like cereal Os takes putting the vacuum right on top of the cereal. Since the vacuum is light and easy to empty, I don’t mind using it and emptying it. The one drawback is that the inner filter gets really dirty very quickly and needs to be cleaned more frequently than my last small vac. All in all, I would recommend this vac as a second vac for small jobs and tidying up.

Performance was awsome, cleaning of unit was great, however the unit has completely stopped working. There is no Electrolux service in this area without going 90 miles to Shreveport, La. from where I live. I have tried to find out online what I should do to get this repaired. The battery is charged completely the basket is empty, the brushes are cleaned every time I clean my small house. I need someone to tell me what to do. The only other vaccum I have is my 30 year old Electrolux cannister that still works. However at my age at 83 I can no longer pull this vaccum around\, that was the sole reason I purchased the stick version. Contacted Electrolux with phone number off the vaccum handle, no one recognizes the Model and and the servie number only gives you person's who are unable to speak English so it can be understood. After 2 hours of frustration I give up. IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS UNIT AFTER ONE YEAR AND A FEW MONTHS YOU CAN NOT GET IT REP[AIRED ANYWHERE. DO NOT BUY THIS VACCUM .

While I love my Dyson Animal, this little vacuum remind is wonderful! It is lightweight, turns easily and is strong enough to pick up change. Holds its charge long enough to run around my 1,000 sq. ft apartment. The only drawback back I’ve found is that the dirt cup needs to be emptied often.

Whoever says it is a bad idea to give a woman a vacuum as a gift is either (a) not a woman or (b) not a woman with cats. This was my Christmas gift this year, and I love it. Things I love about it: (1) It stands up on its own and does not need to be leaned up against anything to stay upright (2) It is the perfect size. Not too big, not too small. (3) It has a little charging stand, which makes it feel more put away even though we have it sitting out in our study and not in a closet. (4) It has a light! This was a must for me. (5) The profile of the vacuum head itself (area where the beater bar is) is slim enough that I can easily vacuum under our vanities even though the bottom moulding of the cabinet has only a fairly small arch between it and the floor. (6) It is light-weight. If it were too heavy, I would be less inclined to grab it each day for regular maintenance. (7) It does the job. It is not by any means as powerful as a full-sized vacuum, but it is perfect for keeping things tidy on a daily basis. We use it for cat litter and any fur that as accumulated throughout the day. (8) The detachable handheld vacuum is gold. I love everything about it — the weight, the suction power (not too much or too little), the convenience of having it for smaller jobs or tiny spaces. (9) The look. It has a more classic design that feels more sophisticated than other options out there. If I am going to keep a vacuum out all the time, which is what we wanted to do so that it would be super easy to grab the vacuum for daily maintenance, I want to not mind how the thing looks. Maybe because I am so in love with it, I actually like how it looks in the room we keep it in.

This is something everyone should own! Hand held attached, this is light weight and the stand provides the connection so easy to attach when done vacuuming! Works great!!

Lightweight. Cordless. Bagless. Two vacs in one. Swivels easily. Stands on its own. Attractive design. Easy to grab and go. Unbelievable suction—I was shocked at what it pulled out of my carpet. Makes my life so much easier! Vacuuming shouldn't have to be a dreaded chore; now it's quick and easy. I love it so much, that I convinced my mom and dad, who are elderly, to get one as well. They absolutely love it too. They had a couple of big clunky and heavy vacuum cleaners with great suction, but they were nearly impossible for my parents to move safely. I’m SO glad that I encouraged them to get this and I don't have to worry about them tripping or falling while vacuuming. For them, it is like night and day, really. [** UPDATE 7/2024 **: My Mom loves this vacuum so much that she decided she would like another one for the second floor of their house. It is lightweight enough that she could easily carry it up the stairs, but for convenience, she would like a second one. It makes me feel good that she likes it so much. My parents are very "particular." Initially, I was worried that she would feel that the suction was not strong enough for her carpets, but she is as astonished as I am with how much dirt that is pulled up with each use. I empty the cup on mine every time. Because it is light-weight and relatively quiet, one would expect the performance to be weak, but it is as good or better than the larger uprights I've used in the past.] One minor issue with the design: The nozzle attachment for the handheld vacuum is stored inside the charging base. As others have commented, it would be better if this attachment were more easily accessible (i.e. stored on the vacuum itself). So, if you are about to vacuum and think you might be using the hand-held device at some point, you should grab the nozzle from the base when you remove the vacuum from the charger. This will save you from having to go back to the base to get it. Recommendation: Get the additional warranty for a few extra dollars. I had a cordless Electrolux very similar to this one many years ago and it lasted about a year, so I definitely signed up for the extra warranty for both machines. It adds a couple of years after the manufacturer's warranty run out. Worth it.

Happy we use it daily . No regrets cleans up amazed the dust it picks up. The weight is at the bottom.
