The Phantom Menace (Star Wars Episode I)

This isn't the type of book I would normally pick; however, I like the author, so I decided to give it a shot. It turned out to be a fun, quick read. Fast-paced. Action-packed. A very good novelization of The Phantom Menace.

These junior novelizations worked -- they seized my son's attention and kept him reading non-stop for the month of July.He read this book two or three times in the car as we drove on vacation -- I read Phantom Menace for a half-hour, and it is true to the screenplay. It gives a little more insight into what the characters are thinking and how they make decisions. It's a much longer book than he would willingly choose for himself, and I like that.(About 200 pages)

Loved the book it was very good told the story in a new way told from the characters perspective and not from the movie views.

This Star Wars chapter book is very appealing to boys from 3rd though 5th grades at our school. It is always checked out.

It is just like the movie. It is in great detail and I look forward to the next one. Great job Patricia

I couldn't put the book down. I just kept wanting to read more. It is easy to read also.A favorite for sure!

Part of a great series to encourage reading in my grandson. Holds his interest, appropriate for age 10.

This is a short, action packed book. The series is great for Star Wars fans that also love to read.

This is a junior novelization of The Phantom Menace and while it hits on all the scenes that are in the movie, the style of the rioting left me wanting more.

９歳の息子（Ｇｒａｄｅ３）のリーディング用に、このシリーズのエピソード１～３を購入しました。レベル的にはちょうど良いと思います。Star warsファンなので、楽しそうに読んでいます。息子いわく、この本のストーリーにはＤＶＤや映画には放映されなかったシーンもあるそうです。

The violence is tuned right down. The language is good, but not as nice as the UK English Star Wars junior novels. Probably too easy for a 10 year old, but great to move from the early readers to real books.
