Buy Help Me I'm A Hypochondriac!: From Headache to Hypochondria - How I Beat Health Anxiety by Martins, Philip online on desertcart.ae at best prices. ✓ Fast and free shipping ✓ free returns ✓ cash on delivery available on eligible purchase. Review: Very amusing book for anybody married to a hypochondriac. Read it and then pass it over to them. There are two in the series. It describes exactly what a person with health anxiety is feeling in a lighthearted way and advises what you could do in this situation. Unfortunately my husband has not benefited from the advise and just carries on as before. Review: This book is me to a T. I love hoe Philip makes it humorous. I couldnt help but laugh at myself as I related to every single thing. I will be reading it again, for sure. Its an easy read and its comforting to know someone else (the author, in this case) went through the same situation. Highly recommend!!!!!!

I would give this book infinite stars… truly. This book has helped me beyond words. It pinpoints exactly how I feel, my experiences, feeling crazy, feeling like a burden, etc. It helped me to see, I check every single box, that what I’m feeling is valid and I’m not alone in my feelings. It has been so helpful to hear from someone else who KNOWS what I’m going through. It’s a very different perspective than a doctor or therapist. It gives me hope that I can get through it too. We are not alone in this craziness and we can get through it!

Actually, a 3.5. Short, sometimes humorous, read about what sounds like a younger person’s experience. I’m older, and while not too old to apply some of his thought, bottom line is I probably already have. So not much is new, at least for me, whether in thought, effort or having tried, and at my age things really do begin popping up … or is that the hypochondria speaking, lol?? In any event, he makes a good effort to help others, and I commend him for that. Definitely good advice regarding internet searches! Also, anyone who can publish a book has accomplished something. I’m just not sure it’s enough for me and may pursue other readings or get back to CBT (already have discussed with doc and practice breathing and meditation, have medication, good diet and exercise). Note; I’ve had few noticeable panic attacks. I’ll update my review as things soak in a bit in coming days, and if my opinion changes, will change my review/rating. Thank you.

I enjoyed this book, so much. It made me feel seen and I smiled, nodding a lot while I read along. There are some good tips in this book from a "layman" aspect. It was relatable and so true! It's nice to have something out there that makes you feel seen and not as "crazy" as I feel. I bought another workbook that is more therapy based but I'll be keeping this book for the next time I get in my head. The talk about Dr. Google is SO SPOT ON. Google is the WORST. I think if you want something light hearted that makes you feel seen and less "nutso", this is def the book for you. I think I might actually put it in my purse.
