ReflectixBP48010 Double Pack Insulation, 48 in. x 10 ft (Тwo Рack)

I live with my elderly parents in the home I grew up in and which they purchased new in 1970. Since that time, nothing has been done to upgrade the windows in the home and little else has been upgraded or changed either. My father refuses to run the AC below 81-82F in our very hot Texas summers. I have the hottest bedroom in the entire home. I am not allowed a portable AC or a window AC so for the last 5 years I have just sweltered in here...to the extent it was wreaking havoc on my health. I described the situation to someone I'd met online and he suggested I try this and thank God I did! This stuff has made living in this home almost bearable. I will still be very happy when I can get the hell out of here (think prison with my father the warden) in my own place again but at least I am not so hot now that I faint or pass out, which has happened a few times. I no longer have to sit here sopping sweat up with paper towels or not wearing any clothing just to try to stay a little cooler. This stuff has made the room very dark, which is okay with me, but also cooled it down considerably. I cannot say exactly how much but if I had to guess I'd say at least 10 degrees. I am comfortable now even though the AC has not been lowered, and I was hurting badly before. Thanks to my friend for suggesting this and thanks to the company who provided it. It is an absolute lifesaver in my case!!
