Cover, Carry & Store in Style!
I was hesitant to buy this product because it's pricy for an unpadded bag. I ended up with it anyway since I wanted each of my tripods in a different bag for quick identification. Although my most expensive bag, it earns its keep by being the nicest in appearance and design. Manfrotto put some care into the design and materials and it shows: flashy embossed logo, red accent, tough luggage grade fabric, reinforced adjustable strap, zipper pulls and a thoughtful zipper design allowing you to open only the end or the full length of the bag. Although a largely unpadded bag, both ends have thin but dense padding and afford some protection from bumps while carrying it over your shoulder.TRYING IT ONI tried three of my medium sized tripods in the MBAG70N and they all fit with plenty of room to spare: Gitzo G201 with Manfrotto 128RC Fluid Head, Manfrotto 190 (3-section) with 353RC Ball Head and Manfrotto 190CXPRO4 4-Section Pro Carbon Fiber Tripod with Manfrotto MH054M0 Magnesium Ball Head. The bag is fairly wide so bulky heads like the Manfrotto 128RC Fluid Head are no problem. Among the three tripods, the Gitzo G201 with Manfrotto 128RC and Manfrotto 190 (3-section) with 353RC were the best suited. The Manfrotto 190CXPRO4 4-Section Tripod is so compact when folded it really belongs in a smaller bag. Indeed, I keep it in a 22-inch bag, the Giottos AA1251 Padded Tripod Case Small 4x22-Inch. It's not as pretty or light as the MBAG70N but is 100% padded and fits that 4-section tripod and head like a glove.GOTCHASOddly the Amazon description starts with, "The Manfrotto Bags range offers the best protection and carrying solutions with multihandles and internal pockets." Darned if I can find an extra handle or pocket anywhere on this bag! No biggie for me as the strap works fine as a handle and I have plenty of pockets in my camera bag. But still, Amazon needs to fix the description as some buyers will want those features and be disappointed when it graces their doorstep. It's a good idea to check specs on the manufacturer website and read reviews so you don't have post-purchase surprises. The Manfrotto website shows the padded series of tripod bags with a handle, strap and stash pocket but not the unpadded series.Great new home for my old Gitzo G201 tripod/Manfrotto 128RC Fluid Head: good looking, light, strong strap and thoughtful design.

It's Expensive, but Spares Expensive Tripods from Damage
We now have 3 of these cases for remote shoots. The cases are well designed to significantly reduce damage to camera tripods in transit, and with a top handle, and extensible shoulder strap, an easy tote to schlep to site shoots! And, after all, it's made for a major tripod manufacturer/supplier, so it's likely comparable in cost to the tripods it's for which ii's designed. Manfrotto makes great gear, and you should have a great, protective and durable bag to haul your gear around! Consider the cost an "insurance policy" to protect your gear!

This is an exceptionally nice tripod carry case.
This is an exceptionally nice tripod carry case. It's very well padded and has lots of room for those Manfrotto professional heads. The round access up top is designed for easy access of tripod. The zippers look and feel durable. They operate rather smoothly. I used the carry case for a large Manfrotto professional tripod. The attached straps are very comfortable indeed. It's really worth the price paid for this item.

Excellent for large tripods, but not quite 100 cm
If you have a large tripod, this bag is great. I bought it to go with a Manfrotto 475B and 501HDV combination, and it fits perfectly. Note that the 100 cm size is misleading: my tripod is just about 91.2 cm, and it fits snuggly; I really doubt it would actually hold a tripod that is 100 cm in length collapsed. Very well constructed, tough material, sturdy zipper. The padding is nice, not just for protecting the tripod, but for padding your back when carrying the tripod with the shoulder strap. In addition to the shoulder strap and the carry handles on the side, there is a grab strap on the bottom. Can be loaded from the top end or unzipped all the way to load from the side.

Great bag for larger light stands
This bag arrived in a timely manner and in perfect condition. The Manfrotto light stands fit in it with room to spare, I was also able to put a couple umbrellas in as well. The case is well constructed and has a heavy duty adjustable shoulder strap. The only complaint that I have is that there is no handle on its side for carrying it (- 1 star), there is a web Loop on the side you could hang something off but not big enough to carry it. I would buy this again if needed.

Excellent protection and balance for hiking
This bag is a must for the big Manfrotto tripod, the MacDaddy that self adjusts the lets instantly. I have that one with the Manfrotto 400 head; 6.6 pounds of geared perfection. This whole thing fits perfectly into this bag. The handle strap has two places to attach which compensates for a top heavy set up like mine. Nice for walking with it. The shoulder strap is nice and wide and set up in such a way as to fit nicely on my shoulder so I have no problem spreading the load there when I walk a long ways. I am using a medium format camera to make my photographs and I like working at the lens sweet spots, usually f8 to f11. This leads me to semi long exposure times on occasion and I do not want my sharpness degraded by an inferior level of stability. This works wonderfully. I also want this tripod and head to last a long time so I want them protected while hiking to remote places and out of the way of the abuse the elements can wreak on equipment. I am very happy with the bag, the tripod and the head. Highly recommend if you want seriously sharp image files of around 325 megabytes that can be enlarged easily to 36 by 48 inches.

This bag holds more than you think!
Just what I was looking for! I can jam three 36inch light stands, a mini Manfrotto light stand, boom arm, two small 20 inch umbrellas and a 60 inch Paul C. Buff umbrella with the ring/hardware still attached! There's a convenient loop on the out side that I throw a D-ring through and carry my collapsed Lastolite soft boxes and reflector. Yes there isn't a lot of padding in this bag but the nylon quality is very good and the zippers are pretty solid! For my purposes it's perfect and looks much more professional that wheeling in one of my green military travel bags to an event. If you need something more protective for air travel, I'd get something with more protection, but than again, they're just light-stands!

Good bag
Good sturdy bag but a bit tight if you leave the flash attachment on the tripod. Wish it was 10cm longer.
