My daughter loves it. Takes it everywhere. One of the few true travel scrabble available. Pieces do not fall out when placed.Very expensive frankly but the value and longevity makes it worth it. A must have for any scrabble fan.

More compact, but still hard to use on the go.
The racks for unused letters are still a tricky proposition, and the size, though smaller, is not as compact as older versions. The same holding mechanism that the board has would give greater peace of mind that pieces won't spill everywhere while trying to decide a word on the run. After a few weeks of using it, I think the older magnetic versions still have the edge in the portability stakes.
