Needs to be in DIRECT sunlight. If the sun goes behind a cloud for a moment, it will lose power. I’m impressed with how powerful it is. The spray is very high (a foot or more depending on which tip you have on), which is beautiful but the wind then blows the water out of my bird bath so it would be perfectly suited for a small pond rather than a bird bath. Came with multiple tip options to customize the exact spray pattern desired (I use the shorted option which is still over a foot high of spray). There is no off switch.

Une fontaine qui en vaut la peine
Superbe fontaine, avec la possibilité de choisir entre différents jets (6 buses) et qui marche très bien jusqu'à maintenant, du moment que l'on entretient la pompe régulièrement, en fonction de la propreté de l'eau. J'ai été agréablement surprise!
