Bought these Folding Foam Sit Mats for my child’s camp, and they worked perfectly! They’re lightweight, easy to pack, and provided great insulation from the cold or damp ground. The mats seem sturdy and durable — they came back from camp in perfect condition, with no tears or damage. My child said they were comfortable to sit on and very handy for outdoor activities. Excellent value for money and ideal for camping, picnics, or school trips. Would definitely buy again!

Its hard to review this product as its performance is largely dictated by physics. The weight is incredibly low, you won't even notice it. The size when unfolded is on the small size but is just about adequate to keep you warm and dry as opposed to sitting on a wet rock or muddy grass. For these reasons they are invaluable and almost certainly deserve a place in your pack. However, for what it is, it does feel quite flimsy, as well as bulky when folded up. I calculate it to be about 0.7l when folded which is nothing for a daypack or even a coat pocket but I typically camp with a 40l rucksack which is already not quite large enough (on purpose) for all the gear I'd end up taking without space constraints, and even though 0.7l sounds low compared to 40, it's quite an inconvenient shape. Because it folds quite square, it doesn't sit well in the flatter front pockets on most bags, causing bulging that makes it harder to fit other items. So your choice is either to give it a valuable bottle holder pocket, strap it/hang it from the outside somehow, or pop it in the main section which obviously makes it super inconvenient when you want to quickly use it while hiking. I want to love it but just struggling to make it work. But equally I can't think of any other way to make it better.

I use these mats to sit on some steps to drink my coffee on a break. If it was particularly cold or wet I would have drink my coffee standing up. No more! They do the job perfectly. Small but big enough for my bottom with plenty of room. You feel a warmth when you sit down. I have used it while the steps have been freezing and wet and it has been brilliant. Folds up easily, comes with a handy little bag and is very lightweight. Note there are two mats (with two separate bags) provided.

These seat pads are ideal for those who like being our in the countryside. Great for popping on a bench before you sit down if the weather is damp. Lightweight but waterproof and warm and comfy to sit on. Ideal for use when camping too. Would highly recommend

These are made from polystyrene. Of course that makes them light, but not that comfortable. They’re great for an emergency, because they’re light, and cause no issues in your rucksack. They do the job for small backsides, but if you’re over a ladies size 14, or a more average sized man, I think you’d have some overhang. Not great for the environment as they will break easily, but handy to have in your bag. I wouldn’t buy them again. I’d spend a little more, and buy reusable sustainable waterproof ones.

These mats are really good. We used them today on our walk to have a sit down on a bench. No dampness or coldness got through the mats. Not terribly thick but comfortable enough. Happy with purchase

Pluses - it's small, light and will fit into most jacket pockets or large front pocket Negatives - it's small. Look at the dimensions and if you've got a large arse, it might not cover it all... It's very light and would easily blow away in the lightest of breezes if you got up and didn't hold on. It feels quite flimsy but seems to be sealed. Can't see it lasting for regular use or if the bench is rough. But it's very cheap, better than a plastic bag and provides a small amount of extra padding so worth having.

I’m in my 50’s now and need a bit of comfort on my walks nowadays. These little pads are great for when the weather gets damp and I need a little break mid walk. They weigh next to nothing, fold out to a decent size, protect the backside from the ground and come in a handy little bag. For the price these are a no brainier 👍
