Who knew? One of those things I needed but didn't know I needed. I have Japanese quail and they are wonderful layers but the eggs are so difficult to peel/crack due to their small size and tough exterior. This cutter whips the top off them (uncooked) and I can use them in baking without struggling. I bought one for my friend down the road that has guineas and she loves it for their eggs. Highly recommended for you folks out there with quail/guineas and wondering what to do with all those eggs. BTW, quail eggs taste (to me) the same as chicken eggs.

works just like I hoped it would. Very nice consistant and clean cut in the shell. No more having to worry about shells in the eggs!Only thing is the handles could be a bit larger to fit my fingers easier when doing 100 eggs.
