I was skeptical when I heard that MB was purchased by a company and that the quality had dropped. For some time MB made some of the best speakers money could buy. I thought I would give the Z-line a try as my factory speakers were not sounding good and I'm pretty sure one had blown. What a worth while investment! These brought my old stereo to life. I later matched them with an upgraded head unit so that I could do Bluetooth and the sound further improved. The speakers are so good that I am transplanting them into a new car and selling the old one that they were in. Have had these for over a year now and I can only say that they are some of the best car audio speakers I've ever owned. Buy them and you will surely be impressed!

Great price and speakers sound great in my Jeep sound bar.

I've had these speakers installed for over 3 years now and can say that while the low/mid range sounds decent, the tweeters are so harsh and overpowering that you'll find yourself constantly reaching to turn down the treble frequencies (2kHz and above). I bought these along with the matching component MB Quart speakers, which also suffer from similar harshness. To put it in context, I literally put painters tape on the tweeter to partially diminish how loud it was. To be clear, it's not just volume, but quality. I did rate this 4/5 stars for value though - these are $79/pair so one should not expect to be getting $300 quality out of something in this price range. I'm pretty competent with audio equipment so I was able to finally dial these in to sound decent, but if I were to do it again I'd pay a little more for JBL or Infinity speakers. The quality vs. price tradeoff just isn't worth it.

Have not had these long they are not component speakers but am very happy the way they sound especially for the money

Best 6.5 and positively the best car audio speakers I’ve ever owned. I’ll never appreciate my other vehicles now. I guess I’ll have to change them all. Just either made more sizes
