Inca Empire: A History from Beginning to End

Brief but to the point.
A brief summary of a people that has left their mark in history th through the remains of buildings in th he New world.Unfortunately almost all the treasures they generated have been destroyed by the plundering Spanish who also managed to bring death and destruction to a caste population.

Rip off!
For the amount it cost, the book was very thin indeed - more like a pamphlet! The content might be good but the price isn't!

An amazing number of facts in a short read, almost too many.
A concise and interesting history. The names of Inca leaders and of the tribes they subjugated are numerous. Although an interesting read it seemed too many facts were crammed into too few pages. The sequence of Inca rulers is obviously at the core of this history as are the details of personal links between them and members of other tribes. However I found the listing of all conquered tribes something of a distraction from the overall history.

Great insight into the Inca civilization.
I enjoyed this short insight and wish I had read it before our visit rather than after. All is clear now.
