WOW! This is my first Mars Hydro LED light. I've been an HID light guy for years. I did a ton of research before purchasing this light. Mars Hydro had the most even canopy coverage of all the lights I researched. Very reasonable price ($150- less than others) Extremely Bright...Very simple and easy to follow assembly instructions. It took less than 20 minutes to assemble and hang. Amazing light... Fantastic Coverage in a 5x5... 1) Adjustable light bars...You can dial in your exact needs for full coverage. 2) Removable driver...You can locate driver outside tent for heat control. 3) Dimmable driver...No need to keep adjusting height. 4) Adjustable light hangers...You can adjust hangers for a perfect fit in your tent. 5) This is replacing a 600 watt DE HPS....Temps are almost 15F cooler. 6) Full 5 year warranty. As a bonus I received a $30- rebate AND a Mars Hydro hat---FREE Overall this is absolutely the best light I've ever owned. Kudos to Mars Hydro! Customer for Life

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Great light. Ladies love it! Be careful if purchasing usb Mars-Hydro iConnectu dongle as it is quirky and will log you out if you disconnect it or mess with the dimmer dial on the light. Logged me out and I went 7 hours of light longer than my 12/12 schedule I had set up. Worked well for couple weeks but something happened yesterday when I removed the Bluetooth iConnectu. Anyway it’s a great light but the app for the optional iConnectu device is confusing. Not a fan…

Manufacturing error light bar won't snap into place so 1 star because it shouldn't have left the factory if it didn't fit onto the frame oh and there's a big green sticker on the box that says 'QC' Passed! very disappointed in Mars hydro I'll update my review when I get the replacement. **UPDATED** 7/26 Ok so the 1st light had a problem but they made it right Alice from Mars hydro reached out to me I was sent another light and as a bonus for my trouble I'm receiving 1seedling heating pad 2 grow bags and a $20 refund on my order! Thanks again to Alice and Mars hydro for awesome customer service because they really didn't have to do anything but replace the light. Also the new light is working just right. Would recommend. As of 1/18/24 I have 2 lights and I'm having problems with one of the lights power jumping all over the place from 160watts to 2 something then to 302 then back down to 160 this is completely unacceptable also the app isn't working properly it doesn't recognize the lights sometimes and now I can't control them with the app totally wasting money all while I'm in the middle of a grow so I'm scared to try and mess with them because they might not turn back on at all like I've read with other people's accounts! #frustrated I'll never buy another Mars hydro product! And I am trying to contact them to at least get a full refund for the latest one I just bought but you know how it is with another time zone! I wish I would've went with another company. The FC-E6500 is the main light in our grow tent. We also supplement with several Mars Hydro TS1000 hung around the main light to completely eliminate any shaded areas on our plants. With the detachable power source most heat generated by powering the FC-E6500 is removed from the grow tent yielding efficient abundant lighting without damaging delicate plants with extreme temperatures. A couple of inline fans provide fresh circulating air and viola you can produce professional flowers at home at no cost. We're expanding our grow and Mars Hydro will continue to be the main reason we can successfully grow our fabulous plants.

I purchased the Mars 730-watt, thinking it was a well-known brand. I've owned many others throughout the years. but it went out after 3 months of use. I have been dealing with Mars customer service. I was lucky to have dealt with an awesome lady, Alice, with excellent customer service. It is rare to have it go out so fast; they ended up sending me a better part than what came with it originally. At first, I was like hey, this part is not the same as the one that burnt out. They upgraded me to a much better, more powerful driver power unit. I noticed the light online has been upgraded to the same one they sent me. Thanks, MARS, for hiring people (ALICE) who really know what they are doing! And acting so fast to get my light up and running. Pictures of my tomato plants below :) Excellent light!

Easier to setup, LED driver brackets are stiffer and easier to install, LED strips are positioned in place already so no wing nuts anymore to tighten... best of all I can run it at 80% and get the same output as the older model FC-E6500 running at 100%! Easy buy, would suggest again.

edit 1: warranty claim process is good (as it can be, all things considered). They got back to me within a day, by the 3rd day I received the tracking label for the replacement led driver/ power supply. Looking like it could arrive within a few days which is awesome and saves my bacon. They were unwilling to sell me a backup driver/power supply :( I've bumped the review to two stars for trying to fix the situation ASAP. I'll update the review to 3 stars after a year of no issues and potentially four stars after two years of no issues This should have been a no brainer: It's a grow light, should just work. So it did work quite well when it did. I had a window of four days where everything was off. I just turned it back on today and at first the lights were flickering which was strange because that has never happened for me. So I figured maybe there was an issue with the dimmer, so I turned it down and then it just turned off outright. I tried turning it off and back on, nothing. i tried unplugging all connections including the ac on the wall, the connection between the fixture and the driver, and the cable between the wall and the driver - nothing. I've submitted a warranty claim to solutions@mars-hydro email after filling out the form on their website. I WAS using this fixture in a perpetual grow setup and ran into a hiccup with securing clones which is why it was off for a few days, that shouldn't kill the LED driver, quite frankly. For the cost of this light, THIS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING. It's in a garage in a cool climate around 60 degrees, there's airflow coming in constant, and it ran fine until today.

great light for my crop did notice a 200$ jump in electric bill the month i used it for vegetative instead of flowering. also puts out some heat

It came on time and in excellent condition, it is easy to assemble it is quite large. All in all I'm a very satisfied customer

Le Problème : Après seulement 2,5 ans d'utilisation, plusieurs sections de LED (environ 33 % des diodes) sont prématurément brûlées sur les deux unités. C'est une défaillance inacceptable pour un équipement professionnel censé durer. ​La défaillance est clairement systémique et un défaut de conception, comme en témoigne le fait que ce modèle a été discontinué par Mars Hydro. ​Le Service Client Mars Hydro (Très décevant) J'ai fourni toutes les preuves requises. Après des semaines de communications, la seule offre que j'ai reçue fut un rabais de 50 % pour acheter de nouvelles lampes, ce qui est une façon de me faire payer pour leur produit défectueux, et non d'honorer une garantie de raisonnable. Mon offre finale d'un rabais de 75 % a été ignorée. ​Conséquence : Cette défaillance a causé des pertes de rendement,rodage et des interruptions importantes dans ma production. Avertissement ​ : N'achetez pas ce modèle ou tout autre produit Mars Hydro si vous vous attendez à un support de garantie adéquat. Si le produit lâche, vous serez laissé sans solution équitable. Je procède à une plainte formelle auprès de l'Office de la protection du consommateur.
