What a FIRETABULOUS book and one helluva continuation of Holly's story!! To say I was – AM still - blown away, shell-shocked and ABSO-FLAMING- LUTELY head over heels in love, Love, LOVE with this book & series is putting it mildly! That's like saying that Holly can only give off one spark at the best of times! Or like saying Tristan is just another guitar playing wannabe! Or that.. Well, you get the picture! This is one PHENOMENAL series that not only has set my heart on fire, but wHolly, utterly, completely consumed me - mind, body, blood, energy and soul! And that ending?!? Tears were Rainey down!! SERIOUSLY!! I am a HUGE fan of Kristen's paranormal books, especially her take on vampires, and while I have read and love, Love, LOVED every single, one of them, I have to say that this is Kristen's BEST. WRITING. EVER. The way I was drawn into the story, the way I literally felt, experienced, truly LIVED every little flicker, glow, glitter & sparkle of it with, for and as Holly, even as Rainey, was unlike anything I have ever felt before! With her preternatural powers, the beauty of her words & storytelling, the way they hypnotized me & took me over, it didn’t just enhance the story, it had the story EXPLODING to life all over, around and inside of me! Kristen has an exceptional, true gift for crafting captivating stories that speak to me on all levels and that fill my head & heart with fascinating, complex characters who I long to be or be with, while living & playing in their unique, amazing Worlds! And with the range & diversity of books & series to choose from, it all proves beyond a shadow of a doubt – scratch that! It lights a blazing red-hot fire in that shadow of a doubt confirming that Kristen is in fact one unparalleled, infinitely talented author!! This book (and series) has everything under the sun & moon you could ever want! Love, romance, deceptions, family, secrets, lies, happiness, lovers, depravity, friends, enemies & those who are both and/or neither, vampires & immortals and the unique & various powers they have, just to tease you even more! wink But there is also this phenomenal, deeply enriched, enhanced story packed full of emotion, with lush, perfectly detailed descriptions, complex, real characters all set in the sparkly underground of the not-so-secret vampire Vegas nighttime! Forever is a fragile thing, doll. you were slipping into darkness. I needed you. Did you ever think that maybe I needed you, too? You’re everything I wish I could be. My fire was an addiction, and addictions ruined lives. I can feel the fire. Let’s see if you can make me burn.

This is yet another excellent book by this author. I loved the storyline and the characters in the book! It was well written and was an appropriate continuation from the first book. I can't wait for the next book in the series! Highly recommended! I received an arc of this book in return for a voluntary review.
