Organic Vegan 21g Protein Powder, Natural Unsweetened, 1.59 lb

I really enjoy this protein powder for my smoothies because it does not have any sugar added, nor does it impact the flavor. It adds the protein, which is all I want to do and it does that nicely.

I used Shakeology for one year a while ago. I loved what it did for my body and health.what I didn't like was what it did for my pocket, it was just too expensive. I went 3 years without drinking protein shakes, because I didn't know I could fashion something similar to Shakeology by combining a full amino acid profile protein powder with a superfood powder plus flavors like raw cocoa and matcha. I chose Orgain because of the price, to be honest. My first purchase was the Chocolate flavor and I found two scoops in 8oz of liquid made an extremely sweet shake and I couldn't drink it. So I asked for a refund (and they didn't ask me to return the used canister!) and ordered the unflavored powder plus the Orgain Superfood powder. It's a winner!! I even like the texture better than Shakeology --- Shakeology was kinda gooey 😩 I vary my smoothies, but my staple recipe is: 1 frozen Banana (bananas ripen too fast, so I freeze them in ziplock bags) 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries 2 tbsp Peanut or nut butter 2 scoops Orgain 1 scoop Orgain Superfood Powder 1 tbsp raw cacao 10 oz Almond milk It's freaking delicious and filling, plus I noticed less bloating. Absolutely recommended 😊

Finally! Zero sweeteners. (When I want a sweetener, I’ll add it.) Most protein mixes are so sickly sweet. This has mild flavor, with the consistency of almond milk. (Not too thick.) It mixed very well with cold water and ice in a shaker bottle. It doesn’t upset my stomach, like whey does. I highly recommend.

Taste on its own isn't great but mixed with fruit it's not to bad

Great stuff. It has a VERY mild, mostly unnoticed taste, so works well in many meals. I add it into various breakfasts--oatmeal, grits, and pancakes. I can't believe someone criticized this for not mixing well in coffee. COFFEE?

This is a very gritty powder and doesnt integrate well into coffee. There is still a taste, I am glad it's not a fake sweetener taste, but it adds a oatmeal like flavor.

I’ve been using Orgain Organic Vegan Protein Powder for a long time, and I really like it. I add it to a smoothie that I prepare every morning, and it’s an easy way to include more protein in my daily routine. It’s also an excellent option for people who are lactose intolerant or prefer a plant-based protein. I like that it’s easy to incorporate into a smoothie and works well as part of my everyday routine. I would definitely recommend it!

I'm still experimenting with this - but I've yet to get it to mix in with my morning smoothie without being gritty. i usually make a smoothie of mixed frozen fruit/berries, milk, greek yogurt, cocoa nibs, creatine.... and I bought this to add more protein to the smoothie. I'm using a ninja nutri-blender, so I'm not using just a shaker cup to mix... I leave it blending for quite a while... and I just haven't managed to get it completely soluble - there's always a residual powder and grittiness. I've tried adding more milk, tried adding nut butter to have more fat content, and I've tried adding ice. I haven't found the magic mix yet, but hopefully I figure it out. I did very much appreciate that this is unsweetened and not flavored - I do not like the taste of any of the artificial or natural non-sugar sweeteners (I can't take saccharine, nutra-sweet, stevia or monkfruit sweeteners)... so that has limited the number of protein powders or smoothie mixes that I can buy. I have not noticed a difference in energy throughout the day or any health benefits yet, but it's really only been a week or so of using this. I'll update over time if I see any changes.

I like the taste of the unflavoured (not meant as a joke, it tastes different compared to other unflavoured...) Container is huge and not even half full. Very disappointing and unnecessary waste of plastic packaging. On an organic product.
