Are these compatible with the fao schwartz train set??

I ordered the play22 train set for extra cars, which looks identical to the one in question and they were not a good match. They were slightly bigger making them difficult to keep on tracks and would not fit under the bridge. A very nice set but I eventually used them separately on the floor at my grandsons home.
