Can anyone who has bought this confirm that it does not sag when clothing is hung on it? I want a rope that keeps clothes at the height I hang them.

Wet or damp clothes are naturally heavier than dry clothes so whatever height you have the washing line it will still sink with the weight of the washing

Does it go slimey , green/black and mouldy during winter months though?

So far my clothes line has not gone green/black or mouldy.
