So, I do quite intricate colouring. I usually listen to an audio book at the time. I find intricate mandelas are also helpful for memory retention. Sometimes I can go on with this for 3 hours or so. As I have aged, my eyes have struggled, especially recently. I have vari vocals, and reading/colouring glasses. These work, BUT at the end of a colouring session my eyes are tired, and I usually wake up with headaches. I have used eye drops etc. Anyway decided to try this light. My neighbour offered me to try hers, but it had become a case of I needed something to help me, and get used to using something like this lamp, or stop colouring. The lamp arrived yesterday. I work on a little wooden outdoors type of garden table, so my husband needed to cut a small piece of wood to accommodate the clamp, as it needed a thicker table to cling too. It took a bit of getting used too, and I probably have a way to go still. It is just a matter of adjusting to the new way of doing things, and I have only used it once, over a few hours. BUT no more headaches/sore eyes. I wouldn’t have expected such good results so soon. This lamp is easy to manoeuvre, adjustable light settings, and actually gives me more room on the table from my previous lamp, which had a base. A few times I had to take the colouring page out from under the lamp to see the whole picture as it were, then return it back under the lamp. As I get used to the new way of doing things I will become more efficient. However, I am 100% glad I tried this lamp, it has made a major difference to me, and I am very happy that Inshall be able to continue my hobby.

Great for model painting.. the light is bright and the magnifying glass works well if you focus it on the model. Needed a bit of cleaning when it arrived but otherwise it's a great and nifty gift idea for someone that does model/figure painting. The clamp works well but if your table has an angled side of can be a problem for the clamp so needed to clamp it to a better surface and make sure that most of the metal ring of the clamp is fixed to the surface.

Purchased for my painting hobbie - very detailed and minute paint by numbers projects. Easy to mount onto the area I use for painting. Magnifier is very strong to see all the lines along with verifiable light setting options depending on the brightness I need. Arm is also manoeuvrable and can be set in place by tightening the adjusters. Perfect for using when doing such detailed projects.

Simple to put together and attach to table. The clamp isn't the best quality and initially I thought it let the overall product down... but things improved with trial and error. At first the whole lamp seemed very unstable if moved quickly but I found if I moved the arm holding it lower down, close to the clamp it remained stable. I then tried the light on a slightly thinner desk and it made the world of difference - completely stable, perfect! So I have updated my review and changed it from three to five stars.The light is nice and bright and changes between colours very easily. Magnification is clear and does the job perfectly. Good value, would definitely recommend - just be prepared for a wobble if your table top is on the thicker side (the first table I tried the lamp on was much slimmer than the clamp, so still not sure exactly what the issue was - but as I said, it works perfectly on a slimmer desk top).

It works pretty well, USB connection for power and the light is great. The clips holding the magnifier to the stand is really pathetic though, it needs to be tightened really tight to hold the light up most of the time and eventually the clips bent and the thing fell off. I've managed to get it back on but it's not great to have to fiddle with it when moving the light around.

Really nice looking easy to install and is a very good in general for painting my minies fast delivery can't praise it enough

Great little desk lamp, I use for electronics. Sometimes I want a larger lens but I knew it was smaller than other units, so that is not a complaint.Light colour is nice. I would prefer controls on the lamp unit instead of the wire though. That's my only complaint!
