If works as expected so can’t complain. Nothing really special about this adapter. Not bulky, so I’d recommend it.

Worked perfectly

Unlike some generic chargers, this one has no overheating problems or static flashes, even after hours of use. It stays cool to the touch, which adds to the reliability and safety of the product. This adapter works seamlessly with my Dell XPS 15, providing the necessary power without any hiccups. It’s compatible with multiple Dell models, making it versatile if you’re switching between different Dell laptops. Though it’s a generic model, the performance and quality are comparable to an OEM adapter. It charges efficiently without any interruptions, and the power output is consistent.

Had in since September 2025, and it gave out sometime in April 2026. Not worth the money, and it gets real hot, even after it stopped working but was plugged in for testing. Buy the real thing and have peace of mind.

I purchased my first one on June 8, 2022. On October 14, 2023, the laptop showed it was low on battery even though it had been plugged in for a while and the light on the charging cable was still on. On closer inspection, I noticed there was some goop around the barrel plug. The goop was hard, like dried glue. I tried to pull out the charging cable, but it was stuck in the port. I was able to wiggle it out slowly, but it was apparent that something in the male side of the barrel plug had swollen and pushed out the glue. I ended up ordering another and received it same day. For the price, this works ok and I don't expect it to last forever. The quality is obviously lower than the official one from Dell. A year and a half is fine with me for thirty bucks and if it dies by a little swelling instead of killing my computer, that's a win in my book. Edit: I did end up having to replace the female connector in the laptop since I guess the swelling of the male plug caused the female one to expand and have a very loose connection. I fixed it with a $7 replacement barrel plug part from Amazon. It was easy for me but it's something to consider if you're uncomfortable opening up the laptop.
